Editor’s Note: Recently, Liberty Nation received extraordinary documents from DiaboLeaks containing lectures straight out of hell. They provide unique insight into the inner workings and machinations of devils in infiltrating and corrupting the minds of humans. Each week, we will post a different Lecture from Hell. The demonic influence revealed is shocking. This short parody was inspired by the wonderful work of C.S. Lewis in his entertaining and enlightening epistolary novel, The Screwtape Letters, written in 1942.
My dear gentledevils,
I am happy to say that your first student assignments went well, with a few exceptions. Vile University is known for producing the most excellent demons in the netherworlds, so I expect nothing less of you. However, some of you were surprised that you, as freshdevils, were assigned graduate human students as your patients. That will be the topic of today’s lecture.
The inexperienced devil believes that the younger your patient is, the easier they are to manipulate. On the surface, that is true. We have all had fun with inciting temper tantrums in toddlers and riling up the schoolyard bully. However, you might have noticed that your connection with the undeveloped minds is somewhat vague and fleeting. Yes, they are easily manipulated, but nothing you do seems to stick. Even a monster child is likely to grow up into a well-adapted adult.
Rome was not destroyed in one day. It takes years of hard work to build up sufficient muck and dirt to blacken their souls and dim that dreadful light of the Enemy. Paradoxically, this means that the older human students are easier targets on which to practice the dark art of demonic ventriloquism. When students first enter university, they are still heavily under their parents and innocent peers’ influence. Their first encounter with genuinely sinister ideas in academia can create a moment of clarity.
I believe the humans, for some reason, are referring to this as being “red-pilled.” We definitely don’t want that! Can anyone here state the first rule of demonic ventriloquism? You with the spikes in the third row, what say you? Correct! “Don’t get caught.”
The older students have more numb minds after years of indoctrination, and that is why they are safer patients for you. They are, already, to some degree walking dead.
The Innocent Mind
