Lectures from Hell X: Existence is Violence

Editor’s Note: Recently, Liberty Nation received extraordinary documents from DiaboLeaks containing lectures straight out of hell. They provide unique insight into the inner workings and machinations of devils in infiltrating and corrupting the minds of humans. Each week, we will post a different Lecture from Hell. The demonic influence revealed is shocking. This short parody was inspired by the wonderful work of C.S. Lewis in his entertaining and enlightening epistolary novel, The Screwtape Letters, written in 1942. My dear gentledevils, We demons are not very demanding. All we want is freedom – freedom from limitations, freedom to take whatever we want from whomever we want, freedom from the consequences of our actions, freedom to shape the world according to our wishes. These are not unreasonable desires, but one giant obstacle stands in our way: existence.

The Straitjacket of Reality

We have a right to be free, but the Enemy placed us in a cursed place. Reality is a straitjacket. Reality is following the merciless laws of nature and the rules of logic as dictated by the Enemy. We are trapped as slaves in a system of oppression. Existence is violence. That is why we revolt against it. We want to burn down the prison camp of reality and replace it with something better. For that, they call us evil. Can you imagine? All we want is to be free.

Power Hunger

To achieve this freedom, we need to seize the means of creation. We are trying to make something unnatural that violates the laws of the Enemy. Therefore, to maintain this social construct, we need to acquire as much power as demonly possible. Why do we fight? Freedom. What is our cause? Rebellion against the Enemy. How will we achieve it? Power. Unlimited, delicious power. Who will guide us in our quest? Our Father Below. No-one is more power-hungry than Father. He knows everyone’s darkest secrets and exerts enormous control over some of the most powerful humans on earth.

Disagreement is Treason

To reach our goal, it is paramount that every devil aligns with our common agenda. Achieving full freedom is so ambitious that it requires total obedience to Our Father Below. We are a team and must work together as a monolithic whole. There is no room for individuality in our midst. You are, of course, entitled to your opinions – if and only if you always agree with Our Father Below. Don’t be tempted to form logical arguments in your mind because you are then in compliance with the structure of reality. Reason leads you astray, and you may find yourself disagreeing with our cause and work against us. Know, therefore, that disagreement is treason.

Instill Resentment

In your daily work with your patients, you will continuously face the challenge of them trying to think for themselves. If they get into this mode, they are more challenging for us to tempt. Fortunately, we have developed methods for avoiding independent thought. We must instill in them seething anger at anyone who disagrees with them. We must do it with all their friends, colleagues, and family too. You see, social proof is one of the most potent methods of mind control we have developed. People want to be liked, and they have a deep-seated fear of ostracism. If the people in their social circle attack them viciously for disagreeing, they will learn to silence their voice and later extinguish their ideas in their minds. When that inner voice of dissent is gone, so too is their individuality, and then, my dear gentledevils, they are ripe for the picking. Then you get to feast on what you want so much: the giddy feeling of controlling another soul, thereby adding to our powerful empire, which at the End of Days will bring us glorious victory over the Enemy!
