My dear gentledevils,

Last time I showed you how we were able to entice the Medieval Christians to mistranslate the crown of the virtues into the deadliest sin: Pride. To understand how to exploit this confusion, we must understand the relationship between Pride and Grace.

Pride and Grace

When the Enemy created the world, He did so by separation. He parted Heaven from Earth, the sea from land, day from night, and so on. When He gave the humans free will, He gave them their own realm, Earth, apart from Heaven.

They are free to do whatever they want on Earth, but if they act in accordance with Existence, they reconnect Heaven and Earth. The reward for this accomplishment is pride.

Knowing their own accomplishment allows them to see what is not. It enables them to see and appreciate the Grace of the Enemy – His gifts to them. It fills them with Gratitude.

Pride of accomplishment enables gratitude, which in turn makes possible Pride – Greatness of Spirit.

Vanity and Self-Denial

We have found two effective ways of breaking the cycle. One is to convince the Christian that Humility means self-denial rather than fear of the Enemy and his Creation. If we can make him deny himself, his spirit will grow weary and eventually resentful. That is how Our Father Below started his path to rebellion.

With resentment in his heart, the Christian will be more willing to listen to our temptations.

An equally effective way is to make the humans embrace unearned pride, namely Vanity. We have done so successfully many times with national or racial pride, but the group in which we have been most successful with this approach is the LGBTQ+ community.

Pride Parade

For a long time, our tempters succeeded in making many Christians hate and reject these free spirits for their sexual perversion. This, of course, made them feel like oppressed outcasts and filled them with resentment. It allowed us to lure them into embracing vanity.

They now openly proclaim that they are proud of their sexual orientation and have even managed to start a Pride Parade to celebrate the way they were born!

By taking pride in the unearned (vanity), they incite the feeling of entitlement, which dulls their gratitude. Entitlement leads to a hunger for power, which makes them hate the Enemy. They are then ripe for the picking.

The Covenant of the Rainbow

The icing on the cake is that we tempted them to use the rainbow as the symbol of their movement. Because of their brazen appropriation, so few today remember that this used to be a Christian and Judaic symbol. After the Great Flood, the Enemy told Noah:

“This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.”

Now, when Christians see the rainbow, they turn away in disgust and see it as a symbol of sexual depravity – the opposite of what the Enemy intended!

Humans do not Fight

I have not told you this merely to brag of our accomplishments, although it certainly fills me with sadistic pleasure. The reason I shared this story of how we stole the rainbow is to teach you that the humans do not fight for their words. Once we have tainted them, they throw their words and symbols away in disgust and hand them to us willingly.

And as I have taught you previously: Once they lose their words, they lose their minds and become like sitting ducks to temptation.

Therefore, always remember that any mistranslation, any smearing, any misuse of their words will make it easier to steal them because they are not wise creatures. They refuse to fight and always retreat. Because of that, we now own pride and the rainbow!
