The nation’s most notorious also-ran, the woman who hobbles and bobbles but won’t go away, snatched a moment of publicity over President Trump’s recent honest tweet. Still coming to grips with losing what was assumed to be a legacy appointment to president, Hillary Clinton let loose a gaseous snark that earned her a minute and a half of the 24-hour news cycle.

It was in response to a tweet by the president aimed at “progressive congresswomen,” not named, that was an obvious jab at Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Democrats and Republicans alike are somewhat unnerved by, or outright hostile to, the antics of the not-so-fab four. And the quartet seems just fine with attacking the Democratic Party, calling the Speaker of the House a racist, and somehow making anti-Semitism in the House of Representatives seem acceptable.

Trump, however, did not wing-tippy-toe around the radicals and tweeted his outrage at what most Americans see as anti-American behavior:

“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly…

“And viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

All right, only one is an actual immigrant, Omar, but he did hit a nerve with Americans who are aghast at what these progressives continue to spew into the atmosphere.  And Pelosi, once the head spinning in trying to decipher who her friends are in politics was under control, bit back that the president’s comments were “racist” — although no one was called out for creed or color or by name.

An Attempt Was Made…

But ol’ Hillary propped herself up again in hopes to remain relevant and replied to the president’s tweet: “They’re from America, and you’re right about one thing: Currently their government is a complete and total catastrophe.”

Sort of explains why she was on the sore-losing end of the greatest show on earth in 2016 – and apparently beyond.  The “complete and total catastrophe” she referenced has created record numbers for all minorities in America – in jobs, salaries, tax breaks, and wealth.

There is no catastrophe. No chaos. The American economy is at historic highs. North Korea is acting a tad less feral, and China isn’t hogging all the government graft. Why would Hillary choose to make such an inane statement?

She’s So Annoying

Maybe it’s because her husband’s name is being bandied about in the child sex-trafficking case of Jeffrey Epstein? Perhaps focusing on her nemesis helps with the stress of the looming and painfully public naming of names.

Could it be Mrs. Bill Clinton – obviously not ready to disappear – needed an audience to fawn, not boo, as was the case at a recent Billy Joel concert in the Big Apple. That must have been embarrassing. And the Broadway production of Hillary and Clinton went dark early because of poor ticket sales. She’s more unpopular than former Vice President Joe Biden – and that’s not a bar worth reaching.

Mrs. Clinton crested in minutes on news media traction, leaving her Twitter account gasping for praise from a few holdouts. Yet Trump’s tweet was the subject of social media for days with the lion’s share of comments in the “send the anti-Americans packing” category. Emboldened, Trump doubled down: “If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!”

Let’s get ready to rumble, America!
