She is the one that Democrats have tried with all their might to forget. She is their recurring nightmare, the source of PTSD, Vietnam flashbacks, and cold sweats at two in the morning, driven by the harrowing memories of how she managed to lose an election she absolutely, positively could not lose. She is the one responsible for the unthinkable reality of Donald Trump being handed the keys to the kingdom.

When Hillary Clinton recently said that she still yearns to be president and hinted that she is considering another run for the big house in 2020, she brought back to life the words of condemnation published in the leftist Daily Beast: Clinton is popping up again like a Halloween ghoul rising from the grave to terrorize the American public.

Asked if she wants to run for president again, Hillary replied “no,” but immediately pivoted to saying “Well, I’d like to be president.” Then she proceeded to list her unique qualifications for Commander-in-Chief (the same ones she employed in her failed bid in 2016: “… I feel very well-prepared for having been in the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department…”) and said she will not decide on whether to run again until after the Nov. 6 midterm elections. As if it wasn’t damaging enough for Hillary to renounce political civility (before reversing herself and calling for unity last week), this latest appearance on her excuse tour provided the most cringe-worthy moment of them all for the myriad Democrat leftists literally begging her to go away and not come back.

Another example courtesy of The New York Times suggests “… someone needs to perform an intervention before she further complicates life for her fellow Democrats.”

We may have actually reached the point where Republicans will open up their famously thick wallets and donate to Hillary 2020, begging her to run as loudly as Democrats are begging her to finally, finally leave the stage. Well, maybe not, but Trump and the GOP would certainly be delighted at the prospect of kicking her butt a second time.

Hillary obviously can’t take a hint. In fact, she is unable to comprehend even blunt-force proclamations from her own party to exit stage left – for good. Has there ever been a more tone-deaf politician?
