Hillary Clinton is back on the campaign trail and sucking up the rarified political air that Democrats so desperately need this midterm election cycle, and a fascinating phenomenon is beginning to emerge. Let’s call it the “Hillary, Please Go Away” syndrome. And it’s spreading like a plague among those on the left.
Media Beasts Hillary
Far be it from me to suggest you read The Daily Beast but Liz Mair penned a doozy entitled, “Dear God, Hillary Clinton. Please, Just Go.” It slaps Mrs. Clinton upside the head and keeps on ticking. Here’s a section of Mair’s article that will have you either gasping that a lefty could have written it, or rolling with laughter:
We’re three weeks out from the 2018 midterm election, and Hillary Clinton is popping up again like a Halloween ghoul who keeps rising from the grave to terrorize the American public; only this time accompanied by the increasingly #MeToo burdened uber-villain, Bubba.
The Clintons, it seems, can’t seem to call it quits, even if it means leaving members of their own party cringing and many more voters ready to “headdesk” themselves into a coma.
This time, it’s happening courtesy of a pay-through-the-nose-to-see-them rehab tour. Because if there’s one thing America hasn’t had enough of over recent decades, it’s efforts by the Clintons to recast themselves as normal, likeable people, as they cash checks and play the victim.
So, it seems that the proverbial line between love and hate is getting thinner all the time in the case of Hillary and her devotees. But if this love tap from The Beast is not enough to convince you that the Hillary road tour is being given the thumbs down by Democrats, all you need do is pick up The Gray Lady.
Michelle Cottle in The New York Times avers, “Hillary Clinton has been on a bit of a media tear the past few weeks, holding forth on both the personal and the political – and making clear that someone needs to perform an intervention before she further complicates life for her fellow Democrats.”

In other words: Please stop, please go, but above all, please shut the hell up.
Grassroots Turning on Clinton
There is also a granular level discomfort slowly seeping onto YouTube, Facebook and Twitter by rank and file Dems indicating that they are not merely worried Mrs. Clinton will screw up the midterms for them, but also that she has it somewhere in the back of that conniving head of hers to run again.
Social media messages appear to indicate that Mrs. Clinton is like one of those pull-down window shades that keeps popping up. No matter how hard you pull it down – up it comes:

One wonders if the 2016 flashbacks of Hillary getting her butt kicked by a political neophyte are becoming too difficult for the left to bear psychologically. Are they waking with nightsweats after seeing Hillary on CNN, ABC or another of their legion propaganda outlets? Or are they finally agreeing that if you can’t shut her up then please, by all means: Lock her up.
There is this sense that Democrats are desperate to get Mrs. Clinton to exit stage left and to do it fast. But as always, Hillary does as Hillary wants and there is seemingly little either friend or foe can do about it.
