Salvadorian Illegal Immigrant Rapes 16-Year-Old Girl

A 46-year-old illegal immigrant from El Salvador, Nelson Rayes-Medrano, is being accused of sneaking into a home and raping a 16-year-old girl. He allegedly crawled into bed with the young girl while she had been taking a nap. The victim reported she woke up to the man straddling her and holding a knife against her neck, the Montgomery County Police said in court documents.
“Take your clothes off,” Reyes-Medrano reportedly told the teen. Startled, she said she at first couldn’t move until he pressed the dull edge of the knife firmer against her throat and repeated the demand. The victim tried to stall for time, hoping a relative would come home and stop the nightmare, but she said the Salvadorian became impatient and ripped her clothes from her body while now pressing the sharp edge of the knife against her neck.
He proceeded to rape her until a noise outside caught his attention, the victim said, and he dressed and left the apartment building. The knife Reyes-Medrano wielded against the teen did not come from the victim’s home but had been brought with him to the scene. Police stressed this pointed to a clear act of premeditation.
During the bond hearing, the public defender asked for leniency in terms of bail, suggesting the illegal immigrant should be placed on a monitoring system since he does not have a past criminal record. Reyes-Medrano also pleaded with the court (via an interpreter), saying, “I would suggest that if you could please grant me a small bond, I will obey any orders that you set for me. I will be willing to appear at court dates and I will be willing to obey.”
Judge Amy Bills rejected the idea, saying with the illegal immigration status and other charges, the defendant will remain in custody until the trial. “The allegations are incredibly serious,” she said. “The allegations are that a knife was brandished and a first-degree rape occurred.”
Reyes-Medrano is married and six of his ten children are under the age of 18. It is not known how long he has been in the US illegally, but for the past three years, he has worked at a bakery in Prince George’s County.
Sanctuary laws make it difficult for immigration enforcement to locate and apprehend illegal immigrants, as is the case in Montgomery County. In 2016, there were 314 rape cases reported. In July of this year, police arrested at least five undocumented immigrants for raping females in Germantown, Rockville, and Silver Spring. Liberty Nation recently reported the rape of an 11-year-old by two illegal immigrants, also in Germantown, in July.
Illegal Alien Arrested on 16 Counts of Sexual Assault Against Children

Alejandro Alcala-Ayala
Lorenzo Guapillo-Chavaria, 33, was arrested on numerous counts of sexual assault and rape of children; however, once fingerprints were obtained, it was discovered his legal name was Alejandro Alcala-Ayala.
Alcala-Ayala was originally charged with 16 charges, including three counts of first-degree child molestation, one count of first-degree statutory sodomy, two counts of statutory sodomy, first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree statutory rape, and abuse of a child resulting in serious emotional injury. He was booked into Pettis County Jail with no bond.
The prosecution added additional charges of three counts of first-degree child molestation, three counts of statutory sodomy, and two counts of statutory rape. ICE has placed a detainer on him.
