Illegals Crime Report – April 25 – May 1

More murders by illegal aliens – and this time, victims are friends and family.

Illegal Immigration is more than just a political talking point; the left seems determined to make us an open-border country no matter the cost. Each week, Liberty Nation recognizes the Americans who must pay it.

Week of April 25 – May 1

Previously Deported Man Beats Infant to Death

Shelby County, TN

Carlos Zuniga-Aviles

Another previously deported immigrant has allegedly committed murder, this time against an innocent four-month old boy whose only crime was not being the natural son of the suspect, Carlos Zuniga-Aviles. The 33-year-old Honduran national was arrested after the victim’s mother called emergency services because the child was having difficulties breathing.  Alexander Lizondro-Chacon was pronounced dead at the hospital. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head, but the boy also suffered from pneumonia and a fractured skull and rib.

The mother, Mercy Lizondro-Chacon, admitted to authorities that Zuniga-Aviles had struck her son in the head several times after finding out that he was not the biological father. U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) officers said the suspect went by aliases, including the name Jose Agurcia-Avila, which he gave the police in Memphis, TN when he was arrested for the child’s death. ICE also said Zuniga-Aviles had been deported five previous times, the most recent in 2016. He was returned to Central America in 2011, 2012, and 2015 as well.

“ICE will seek to take him into custody to reinstate his removal order following the resolution of the criminal charges he currently faces,” An official said. “Mr. Zuniga-Aviles has been removed from the US five prior times: his most recent removal by ICE to Honduras took place in December 2016.”

Illegal Man Allegedly Murdered Friend – Cuba Won’t Take Him Back

Miami, FL

David Paneque

David Paneque, 29, is a convicted criminal and in the U.S. illegally, despite attempts to deport him to his home country. Why? Cuba refused to accept him because of his extensive criminal past. Despite spending several years behind bars, his criminal instincts seem to have kicked in again. Last month, Paneque was allegedly caught on video shooting and killing his friend, 31-year-old Leandro Lopez, in a parking garage.

A recently installed security camera caught the grisly scene. Apparently, Paneque and Lopez were standing in the garage talking, but for some unknown reason, the suspect pulled out a gun. The video shows Lopez begging for his life, and at one point it looks like Paneque relents, perhaps even hugging his friend. But then he fired several shots at point blank range.

Paneque’s past includes ties with the Sur-13 gang where he went by the nickname of “Psycho.” In 2007, he was arrested for stabbing a man several times while robbing him. He was convicted of attempted murder and robbery and sentenced to ten years in prison. While incarcerated, he picked up more charges for attacking the guards.

“Psycho” was released in 2017 and ICE had him in custody for about a month until a judge ordered the criminal be deported. However, Cuba wouldn’t take him, so Paneque was released onto American soil, free to allegedly kill his friend.

“Where are they going to send me?” Paneque said. “They don’t want me here. They don’t want me there.”

Carlos Curbelo is a former Miami representative, who introduced a failed immigration bill last year. “This illustrates a major flaw in our immigration laws,” he said. “Even though this individual is an undocumented immigrant with a history of violent crime, by law, he had to be released.”

“It’s the Cuban government,” he added. “Bottom line, they have no interest in any kind of cooperation with the United States. They are the problem.”

Remember to check back next week for the next installment of our illegals crime watch.
