Illegal Alien Abducted and Raped Teen
Toledo, OH
Juan Carlos Morales-Pedraza
Juan Carlos Morales-Pedraza, 33, was arrested this week after a routine traffic stop made law enforcement suspicious. When Morales-Pedraza was stopped by an Ohio state trooper on a “failure to move over” violation, the arresting officer noticed a young girl in the vehicle with him. The 15-year-old turned out to be a child sex slave from New Jersey.
A tweet from the Ohio State Patrol reads: “During the stop, OSHP says the officer noticed a young female riding with an older male. Police say it was also confirmed that the man had forced the girl to perform acts on him and that the girl was being taken to Chicago from New Jersey.”
State officials said Morales-Pedraza was in the U.S. illegally and that he had been previously deported. Neither he nor the victim spoke English. Officials discovered that the teen had been listed as missing after checking her information against their records.
The suspect remains in custody.
Immigrant Canvasser Charged with Attempted Murder
Olney, MD
A 20-year-old man living in the United States illegally is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and reckless endangerment, and other various charges after he allegedly shot another in the neck. The victim was walking home from Five Guys when Darwin Reinaldy Cruz-Rosa fired several shots from a Glock-like handgun at him, he claims. One of the bullets struck him in the neck and, though he ran, the alien gunman and another gave chase. The man said he managed to get home and barricade himself in, but that several bullets were fired through the door and kitchen window. He saw both the front and back door handles wiggling – presumably from attempts by his assailants to get in.
The suspects fled in a white Acura, which was later stopped by local police. During questioning, Cruz-Rosa told authorities he had been employed by CASA as an election canvasser. The organization confirmed this tale, but said that he had not been there long because he had been a “poor” employee.
“CASA offers its sincerest condolences to the family of the victim,” spokeswoman Lizette Olmos said in an email to ABC7. “Mr. Cruz-Rosa worked very briefly last September for CASA’s sister organization CASA in Action. He was terminated for poor performance after less than 31 days of canvassing work.”
