Judge Juan Merchan is on the criminal case brought against Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the Stormy Daniels "hush money" trial. Merchan issued a gag order on Tuesday, March 26th, restricting statements Donald Trump may make when discussing the case, including regarding members of the DA's staff who wish to see him incarcerated over the $130,000 payment extracted by Daniels to not further publicize her alleged night of physical intimacy with Trump.
