Soros 2.0? Say it Ain’t So, Joe

What’s George Soros’ son doing spending so much time at the Biden White House?

Billionaire George Soros is loathed by probably about half of all adult Americans – and quite possibly even some children. The man is on every journalist’s watch list to follow and photograph when he is making stops in the Swamp or New York City in what some surmise is a continued attempt to turn America into a less-than-free and vibrant dream. Perhaps that’s why his son, Alexander, has become his proxy for meetings at the White House.

The young Soros is following in his dad’s footsteps by raising money and turning Democratic frogs into princes. In just two years, Alexander has made 14 visits – 12 in 2022 alone – to Joe Biden’s White House, meeting all sorts of underlings and the Cabinet.

Soros 2.0 or Flop?

Globalist progressive George Soros spent much time at the Obama White House weighing in on everything from ISIS to poverty. The man was a frequent flyer to the Obama and Biden dinner table. As a result, President Obama’s – and now Biden’s – top-level Cabinet members and staff have been touted as top Soros picks, and no one says no to George.

But are they any more likely to say no to Alexander?

In reality, Alexander is the perfect person to see what’s happening without raising too many eyebrows. Who would notice if the 37-year-old Soros had lunch with a national security advisor’s chief of staff? So instead of the elder, the younger attends expensive state dinners, meets with federal government officials, gathers the intel, and keeps his pop in the loop on progressive policies.  He’s learning the ropes from George but is, thus far, the target of less attention or vitriol: No one has taken out a petition to stick Junior on a plane to Siberia yet.

Scott Walter, president of conservative think tank Capital Research Center, knows that even after the elder Soros begins to fade from view, his legacy will live on. Walter told the Washington Examiner, “Like his father, he cozies up to White House and congressional leaders willing to do the family’s bidding on such issues as crime, immigration, election policy, and more, as the Soros’ exploit every type of giving: money to parties, independent expenditure groups, and so-called charities.”

The ultimate seat of power in the free world is behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office. Soros, an immigrant – no matter how wealthy or influential – could never be president of the United States. But he can hold supremacy over a party that needs his money and quietly insert his agenda. While the world watched the circus at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for political insight, they failed to notice that Soros already had his people in place in every state. Progressive district attorneys are presiding over criminal justice – or the lack of it – in America’s largest municipalities, and it was a nearly silent takeover.

On the Open Society Foundations website, which is George’s platform for rolling millions in grants to far-left candidates and causes, one might believe the man is a saint. He has shared nearly $32 billion on what the Foundation describes as “a commitment to fighting the world’s most intractable problems.”

But “intractable problems” can be interpreted differently in the political universe.

While Alexander does not quite yet enjoy the status of his father, he is onboard and included in the US government’s highest ranks. “Don’t be distracted by Alex’s name in the visitor log,” Tom Fitton, the president of  Judicial Watch, told the New York Post. “It’s a George Soros rep they’re looking to meet with at the Biden White House…He’s still calling the shots, it’s his money, his foundations.” A distraction, indeed.
