Ron DeSantis Puts Big Pharma on Notice Over COVID Vaccines

There have been fatal flaws in the rush to mandate vaccines, it seems.

It’s downright exhausting. A politician that won’t take a breather and just keeps on going like the energizer bunny. But that is precisely what Florida signed up for with the re-election of Governor Ron DeSantis (R). The leader of the Sunshine State has called upon the Florida Supreme Court to impanel a grand jury to ferret out any wrongdoing by Big Pharma and crimes they may have committed against the citizens related to the COVID-19 vaccine. Maybe the vaccine devotees are regretting their nickname for the governor: DeathSantis.

During a recent gathering at the governor’s mansion, DeSantis claimed, “we are going to hold these manufacturers accountable for this mRNA, because they said there are no side effects, and we know there have been a lot.”

Allegations relating to the COVID mRNA vaccines include various unintended consequences such as coagulation disorders, acute cardiac injuries, Bell’s palsy, encephalitis, appendicitis, and shingles. All either painful or deadly. But the most alarming factor reported was an analysis by the Florida Department of Health conducted through a self-controlled case series that discovered “an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination.”

Ron DeSantis Forms a Committee

Florida’s state surgeon general, Dr. Joseph Lapado, has been charged with overseeing a seven-member panel to get to the bottom of the claims made by, well, Lapado. His department’s analysis shook the system, prompting a look-see into the vaccine push by pharmaceutical companies. He released this statement: “Far less attention has been paid to safety, and the concerns of many individuals have been dismissed – these are important findings that should be communicated to Floridians.”

The committee will produce a set of guidelines that reflect Florida’s priorities over federal mandates. But, of course, pharma, the Biden administration, and other boisterous leaders did not appreciate the Sunshine state stepping on their collective toes. Some were downright indignant, including Pfizer spokesperson Sharon J. Castillo. She fired off an email attempting to deflect from DeSantis’s plans: “These authorizations are based on robust and independent evaluation of the scientific data on quality, safety and efficacy, including our landmark phase 3 clinical trial,” Castillo wrote. “Data from real world studies complement the clinical trial data and provide additional evidence that the vaccine provides effective protection against severe disease.”

“Robust,” “landmark,” and “evidence,” what’s not to believe in those confidence-boosting words? But Lapado stayed his course as well, countering during a roundtable discussion: “People feel like they’re beholden to the CDC. We will be issuing recommendations that make sense and are scientifically valid.”

DeSantis didn’t miss a beat, bulldozing the naysayers and adding that the “pharmaceutical industry has a notorious history of misleading the public for financial gain.” And, surprisingly enough, that is illegal in the state of Florida. Lapado also warned that rushing the science would end in bad decisions. He was one of the 20-plus medical experts who drafted and signed a petition in June 2021 that asked the Centers for Disease Control not to give final authorization to the two mRNA vaccines. Obviously, the CDC declined that request, and now Florida state officials are meeting with people who had a severe reaction after receiving the jab.

Retired Pensacola police officer Steve Ordonia came to the roundtable with a story to tell: he had severe joint and muscle pain after receiving the mRNA booster. After several trips to the emergency room, he said: “I knew right there it was the shot,” and told the panel he contemplated suicide. “We’ve got to change this hospital protocol.”

Outgoing director Dr. Anthony Fauci of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) also had something to add. “I don’t have a clue what [DeSantis is] asking for. It has been politicized. And it has been politicized in a way that has actually cost lives.” But Fauci also admitted in July on Fox News that the vaccines do not safeguard “overly well” against infection of COVID. DeSantis, among other conservative pundits, mocked the man’s constant change of COVID protocols regarding masks, vaccines, lockdowns, school closures, and social distancing. So much so that the Florida governor had Fauci flip-flops with “pound sand” displayed on them to raise money for his gubernatorial race.

To vax or not would seem to be up to the individual. There’s no shortage of vaccine availability, and if that’s the route you want to go, more power to you. But the governor is trying to lay all the cards on the table and get to the bottom of so many sudden deaths in the younger ages. It’s called transparency, and pharma, government agencies, and science should show what they got when it comes to convincing America this was a safe plan.
