License to Kill: Migrant Drivers Let in by Biden Are Still Deadly

More handwringing will not stop this continual problem with migrants – illegal or otherwise.

4 Questions

The story, in brief

1Who was killed in the Ohio crash involving truck driver Bekhzod Asrarov?

Tobias "Toby" Forsythe, a 21-year-old star goalie for the UMass Lowell soccer team, was killed in the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene after Bekhzod Asrarov's truck rammed Forsythe's Honda Accord.

2Why is Bekhzod Asrarov's Ohio commercial driver's license under scrutiny?

Bekhzod Asrarov was granted an Ohio Commercial Driver's License despite failing an English proficiency test. At the crash scene, he reportedly had to use Google Translate to communicate with law enforcement, raising questions about how he met federal language requirements for commercial drivers.

3What criminal charges is Bekhzod Asrarov facing after the fatal Ohio crash?

Bekhzod Asrarov is facing multiple felonies after the crash, including destruction of evidence involving his dash cam and three iPhones found on his person. An Ohio Highway Patrol trooper said he found a dangling cord and a destroyed camera unit when looking for a dashcam.

4What happened next in court for Bekhzod Asrarov after the Madison County arraignment?

During the July 10, 2026 arraignment in Madison County, prosecutors did not object to Bekhzod Asrarov's release. He was then released from jail without bond.

The Trump administration may have turned off the taps on illegal aliens into this country, but the consistent flow of the Biden administration’s open borders isn’t any less deadly today. Just last week yet another migrant driver ended the life of an American citizen living his dream.

Tobias "Toby" Forsythe was a victim of vehicular homicide. What should have been an uneventful drive ended with Bekhzod Asrarov, a CDL licensed immigrant without a functional command of the English language, forcefully ramming his truck into the young man’s Honda Accord. Toby was pronounced dead at the scene.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy posted on X: "Tobias 'Toby' Forsythe was just 21, a star goalie for the UMass Lowell soccer team with his whole life ahead of him. We cannot let truckers ... who can't read our road signs or speak to law enforcement, drive 80,000-pound rigs on America's highways."

The Biden Hangover

Just how did this man, who arrived in the US legally in Biden’s 2024 diversity lottery, become an over the road truck driver with a license to kill? He needed English language proficiency, right? Evidently not – he reportedly used a translator app at the scene to talk with law enforcement and first responders. Mr. Asrarov had no previous criminal record, at least as far as the administration knows, but he’s now facing a few felonies, including destruction of evidence of his dash cam and the three different iPhones that were on his person. He is, in fact, now a criminal immigrant.

Getting a CDL looks time consuming and difficult, even for those who do speak fluent English. It takes a month to seven weeks on average to get a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in Ohio. The timeline includes mandatory Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT), which takes a minimum of 160 hours for Class A and 120 hours for Class B, followed by a mandatory 14-day waiting period with your Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP). As of publication, no company of record has stepped forward to claim this man and the hot mess he has made in Ohio.

Too Little Way Too Late

Of course, the US requires commercial drivers to read and speak enough English to understand road signs, communicate with law enforcement, and complete required reports. And under the Trump administration approximately 5,000 non-domiciled CDL holders are under review. Drivers with documentation that does not satisfy current Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines have their CDLs downgraded to standard passenger licenses. Here’s a novel idea: How about no licenses at all?

But it gets pretty sticky when the government is suggesting tools to facilitate communication such as interpreters, I-Speak cards, cue cards, smart phone applications, and On-Call Telephone Interpretation Service. This is during the driver’s test and interview part of getting a CDL.  Are we going to discover a CDL Learing Center handing out licenses like Skittles if money changes hands?

Asrarov was granted an Ohio Commercial Driver's License (CDL) despite failing an English proficiency test, and at the crash scene where he took Toby’s life, he had to rely on Google Translate to communicate what happened to law enforcement.

An Ohio Highway Patrol trooper spoke on record that he went in search of a dashcam – which almost every legitimate trucking company has installed – and found a dangling cord and a destroyed camera unit. So, this particular migrant certainly was composed enough to try and cover his tracks with a well thought out obstruction of justice. Innocent people do not smash evidence.

Is Anyone Sick of these Headlines?

An illegal Haitian killed a Pennsylvania State Police trooper in a devastating tractor-trailer crash along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County. An illegal immigrant trucker attempting an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike caused a collision that killed three people. Post-crash testing by the DOT revealed the driver could answer only two of 12 English verbal questions and identify just one of four highway traffic signs. A multi-vehicle crash on an Indiana highway resulted in four deaths. Federal authorities arrested an illegal immigrant commercial driver in connection with the incident.

Liberty Nation Gen Z

Just last September, during a routine sting in Oklahoma on I-40, ICE ran records checks on foreign-born nationals encountered during patrol. In the span of three days, 120 illegal aliens were taken into custody for immigration violations, 91 of whom were operating a commercial motor vehicle with commercial driver licenses (CDL) but could not speak English or recognize simple road signs.

During July 10, 2026, arraignment in Madison County, prosecutors did not object to his release, and Asrarov was released from jail without bond. Are you mad yet?
