The US Magistrate Judge who signed the search warrant for Donald J. Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago issued a new order on Monday morning, August 22nd. Bruce Reinhart’s latest ruling was to memorialize and supplement his previous oral rulings at a hearing last week. His ruling concludes that the affidavit supporting the search warrant will not be released in its entirety. The judge also rejected the government’s request to keep the whole document from public view. His order keeps the August 25th deadline for the Department of Justice to submit proposed redactions and legal reasons for them.
