It should be clear by now to anyone who’s been paying attention that the hollow Mueller probe and the assorted vapid conspiracy theories surrounding it have all been dedicated to one grand purpose. Former FBI agent Robert Strzok’s famous “insurance policy” continues to be implemented right before the eyes of the American people. It is nothing more than using all the machinery the Deep State establishment can muster to prevent an anti-swamp president duly elected by the people from enacting his agenda.
Swamp Relay Team
All along, the idea has been to run out the clock on the Trump administration before it could disrupt the corrupt Uniparty status quo that has enriched entrenched elites on both sides of the political aisle. As the Robert Mueller portion of this process winds down, the baton is now about to be passed to a Democrat-controlled House. They will take up the grand production of harassment and distraction against President Trump in order to protect the many feathered nests that his 2016 electoral victory so clearly threatened.
As reports surface that special counsel Mueller is poised to conclude his marathon investigation, Democrats are bouncing in the starting blocks, eager to carry on where he left off. “If [Mueller’s report] basically says, ‘Hey, we would have indicted Donald Trump for these offenses but for the fact that there’s a policy memo saying we can’t,’ then I think Congress has to really look at these issues and decide what to do with whatever offenses the Robert Mueller investigation reveals.” These are the words of Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA), appearing on fatuous CNN host Chris Cuomo’s nightly program. Lieu is clearly telegraphing what we all already know: the show will go on.
"The best possible result would be if Robert Mueller found Donald Trump completely innocent because I don't want our President to have engaged in collusion with a foreign power," says Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu. "If the report comes out and exonerates Donald Trump, we just move on." pic.twitter.com/P2D6jiEv8M

It will go on because Trump is still sitting in the White House. Despite what some may mistakenly believe, the goal isn’t to remove him from that spot. The Deep State may be drunk on its own power, but it is also keenly aware of the risk of overtly jettisoning a president elected by over 60 million Americans.
“We’re aware of the fact that President Trump has about 40 percent in the country who passionately support him and if you’re going to examine illegal or unethical actions by the president, you’ve got to try to bring them along,” Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) said as Democrats anticipated reclaiming control of the House in January. “You can’t just ignore them or dismiss them.”
No, unfortunately, those pesky voters can’t be waved away with a flick of the hand. And so the mission is simply to render Trump’s change mandate as ineffective as possible via the nuisance – and that is not a strong enough word for it – of unceasing investigatory aggravation. If Trump were merely a private citizen in a court of law, we would be describing this orchestrated campaign of abuse against him as prosecutorial misconduct of the highest magnitude. But because he is president we jot it down to politics as usual in the Swamp. And those perpetrating this assault are happy to have you think of it in that cynical way so long as the operation continues.
Stalemate As Victory
“[A]ll these anti-globalization sentiments [are] going to pass away, it’s a phase,” Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman of Dubai ports operator DP World, told CNBC in February 2017 just after Trump had assumed office. “It’s a phase where everyone is excited, that’s what actually got Donald Trump elected, that feeling that I am losing my job and others are competing with us, unfairly and that is where we are coming from….”
If by the end of the Trump years nothing substantial has happened within the corridors of Washington, if no deep-rooted changes are made, the globalists win. They don’t need to actually destroy Donald Trump. They merely need to contain him. Preserving business as usual in the wake of a significant populist uprising will be their greatest triumph. This is the why the probes must go on.
