When the Berlin Wall was torn down, the world entered a new age. Hope for the future of peaceful politics and freedom was reborn. Yet the dark spectre is haunting Europe and her people once again. The West failed in its duty of care when it celebrated the tearing down of the wall without exposing the truth behind it; this unspoken truth once again threatens, but this time, Europeans are blinded to the chilling reality.
The European Union (E.U.) is resurrecting another wall – an ideological one – that seeks to encompass all the nations within its grasp. And the motivation behind it is exactly the same as that of the Berlin Wall: To keep the population in ignorance.
Awaken to a Nightmare
On the morning of August 13, 1961, East Germans awoke to find they were separated from family, friends, countrymen, and jobs by a barrier that had been erected overnight. The East German Communist Party leader, Walter Ulbricht, had decided that too many of “his people” were fleeing the Soviet-run regime, and that a heavily fortified wall was the most appropriate way to keep the people in his communist utopia.
The builders and architects of the wall stated that if East German citizens could see how people outside of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), they would want to leave. This could not be allowed.
This was a generational project. The idea being that those who grew up within the confines of the GDR – as long as they were not exposed to an alternative vision – would learn to love and embrace the strident communism in which they lived.
And this is the same plan that the European Union has today.
No One Can Leave
Arch globalist and French president Emmanuel Macron recently lambasted Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán for “making great speeches about Christianity,” stating they were “anti-European.”
The E.U. has a simple solution to Hungary’s defiance – they can tell the nation to leave. But they won’t.
If a country within the geographic boundaries of the European Union were to not be part of the bloc, then the citizens within would be able to see an alternative way of life to the one imposed by the EU super-state. And this can never be allowed.
For the E.U. project to succeed – much like the Berlin Wall project – the people of Europe must not be permitted to see a different way of life just across the border. It’s a Nylon Curtain to replace the Iron one.
As Britain attempts to extricate itself from the grasping claws of the E.U., the bloc’s chief negotiator, Guy Verhofstadt, has openly stated that the U.K. must be punished for daring to vote leave. He said:
“…we can never, never create a state for the British or any other country outside the EU which is more favourable than being inside the EU.
Otherwise there’s no point to the EU. There must be an advantage to being a member of the EU and that’s the foundation of the mandate for the negotiations for the commission and the EU Parliament.”
The E.U. is in the process of indoctrinating the next generation of Europeans into believing that a stable, rewarding life is only possible through the munificence and benevolence of itself. The next generation will grow up in the confines of the Union without experience of a differing reality… But this is only possible if the youth cannot see what life is like beyond the opaque veil.
The America progressives – who decry the idea of Trump’s border wall as a monstrous assault on the freedoms of the world for trying to keep people out – are silent when a wall is built to keep people in. We have another word for a place that erects borders with the express purpose of keeping people in: A prison.
