As we’ve been told over and over, Joe Biden won the 2020 election – so why in the world are those on the left still obsessed with the 45th president? It is as if they are gripped by a fanatical preoccupation that cannot be controlled. Sunday, Sept. 11, is a classic example of the odd fixation leftists have with Donald Trump: He flew into Washington, DC, in a windbreaker and golf shoes, and they went wild.
The Tony Michaels Podcast (who?) posted a clip of Trump arriving at Dulles International Airport, and the Twitter-verse quickly became unhinged. Speculation over the golf shoes would be hilarious if these folks weren’t so serious. “NOBODY, I repeat NOBODY wears golf shoes on an airplane,” Dark Brandon’s psychic sidekick mused.
Then John Kennedy Toole tweeted: “There have been zero Social Truth posts from Trump since yesterday afternoon. This is highly unusual; he can’t help himself from bleating. I think there’s more to yesterday’s plane trip to D.C. than just a visit to his Virginia golf resort.” Another Twitter user, Phillip-Democrat, wished out loud: “Fingers crossed for arrest or Walter Reed.”
TutuGigi was triggered and in desperate need of a pharmaceutical: “Now I can’t go to sleep till the east coast wakes up and tells me what is happening!” And HermanCainsGhost couldn’t resist speculating about why on earth Orange Man Bad would travel to the nation’s capital:

4-Showing DOJ where other classified documents are hidden at his golf course

Donald Trump Obsession Reigns Supreme
Obsessive-compulsive behavior (OCD) “features a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears,” according to the Mayo Clinic. “You may try to ignore or stop your obsessions, but that only increases your distress and anxiety,” it goes on. “Ultimately, you feel driven to perform compulsive acts to try to ease your stress. Despite efforts to ignore or get rid of bothersome thoughts or urges, they keep coming back. This leads to more ritualistic behavior — the vicious cycle of OCD,” advises one of the nation’s premier health institutions. This sounds very similar to what ails the left, and it seems to affect not only individuals but also media entities.

Nary a day passes when one of the East Coast legacy newspapers does not have a front-page story focusing on Donald Trump. If they don’t have anything specific to say about the former president, leftists dive into the next best thing: Trump supporters. These voters have been dubbed “Ultra MAGA” or “semi-fascist” or any other invective conjured to insult at least half of the American public.
The topics range from the Mar-a-Lago raid to pretty much anything one can imagine. Monday, Sept. 12, a New York Times above-the-fold headline read: “Must We Discuss the Queen and the Donald in the Same Breath?”
How about no.
The problem with obsession is that it mainly consists of illogical fear. This very public OCD episode exposes the left’s abject panic. Not only won’t they let Donald Trump go, they can’t.
Could it be that maybe, just maybe, because Trump owns an award-winning golf course and country club in the DC area and he was wearing golf shoes, that – take a breath here – he was going to play golf? This astonishing prognostication was confirmed by the man himself, posting on his TruthSocial platform that he was “Working today at @TrumpWashingtonDC on the Potomac River. What an incredible place!”
But, as we know by now, too many folks on the left are no longer capable of rational thought when it concerns the former president. Their obsession has become a sickness, and they are in dire need of psychiatric intervention.
