As the holidays rapidly approach, midwesterners find their normal joyous and good-tidings-to-all Christmas spirit riddled with the "bah, humbug" of frustration with Swamp politics as usual and criminal creatures still running amok in the nation’s capital city. There is a naughty list making the rounds in flyover states that includes the duplicitous Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who threw her comrades under the bus for power, and Hillary Clinton for page after page of seemingly treasonous exploits.
The register also features tomes of offenses by former President Barack Obama that warrant both a lump of coal and possible prison time, plus the lost and wandering Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who appears to be the only person colluding with anyone or anything, as his investigations appear to have uncovered.
But the man at the top of the list might surprise you, for he is the heartland’s beloved man sent to Washington to drain the Swamp and save the Republic. President Donald Trump is still treasured, but the base is demanding he let his superpowers loose and finally address the nonsense perpetrated by those others mentioned previously.
The Donald
President Donald Trump is keeping promises he made while on the campaign trail with a considerable amount of success: Manufacturing is back, unemployment for all is at a record low, and the economy is booming. But where is the investigation into Hillary Clinton for transgressions that would have had mere mortals already buried by now, somewhere on Guantanamo Bay?

And the ability to lie, lie, lie to save her ass
Just to name a few.
Bob, a 69-year-old former Department of Defense contractor and internet guru in Attica, Indiana, is ready for Mrs. Clinton to pay her debt to society:
“The evidence is overwhelming – the FBI and the Justice Department is so blatantly biased a three-year-old would call foul. Obama, Clinton, Comey – not one of them could survive the scrutiny that Trump is under, for this long. And there is no evidence Trump has done a thing wrong.”
But Bob isn’t the only frustrated patriot in Trumpland. The list of unhappy, irritated, and generally exasperated conservatives is as long as the transgressions committed by the Obama-era comrades. Mike McGee, still seething over Obama’s claim he orchestrated the oil boom, offered his view without impunity, saying that Hillary belongs at Gitmo:
“Due to gross negligence as Secretary of State while handling sensitive State Department top secret documents through a personal non-secure server, which is a federal offense at the felony level.
And, Hillary Clinton should be jailed for her role in the fake dossier on the Donald Trump Russia investigation. The fake dossier was then knowingly used to obtain a FISA Warrant. Submitting such a document in the first place is a crime and should be prosecuted as such.”
Mitch Wade, of Edmund, Oklahoma, offers the Eliot Ness method for capturing wiggling, slick criminals, and he advises setting the IRS, after a decent house cleaning, on the Clinton Foundation post-haste:
“Follow the money from the Foundation and the CGI, and yes, there is clearly pay to play involved. As soon as she was not going to be in a position to help other governments, the donations all but ceased to the Foundation.”
Wade was knee-deep into binge-watching the C-SPAN3 hearing covering the Clinton Foundation. But he is correct, and Al Capone, if still breathing, would testify to being captured by tax discrepancies.
Other commenters agreed with Wade’s and McGee’s assessments, but for horse trainer and Wisconsin resident, TJ Clibborn, the Obama administration left men to die in Benghazi, and Lori Hitchcok Sanders briefly concluded that Hillary knowingly and without hesitation “breached national security.”
The people who elected Donald J. Trump to rescue America and return her to her former glory will not abandon the man they realize is the only one, at this most critical time in our lives, to do just that. But they are frustrated with the laissez-faire acceptance Trump appears to embrace when it comes to the criminal acts of the former administration.
Trump once promised that if he were elected president, Hillary would “be in jail.” And now what all flyover folks want for Christmas is the tinkling of handcuffs, Hillary in an orange jumpsuit, Mueller to disappear, and a southern border wall. Ho Ho Ho.
