Behind Black Lives Matter: Big Money and Violent Revolutionaries

From those committed to destroying America, the money trail always leads to the same gutter.

The more the public learns about the Black Lives Matter movement, the more it realizes just how organized and orchestrated the supposedly “spontaneous” demonstrations of social unrest across America these past few weeks have been. The latest disturbing fact garnering attention reveals that a convicted terrorist who was involved in an armored car heist in which a guard and two police officers were killed sits on the Board of Directors for the official “fiscal sponsorship” group behind the revolutionary faction.

Blood on the Board

“As of June 16, 2020, [Susan] Rosenberg sat on the Thousand Currents Board of Directors serving as Vice Chair. However, the organization subsequently deleted the Board of Directors information listing Rosenberg’s biography from its website,” Watchdog group Influence Watch reports.

Thousand Currents provides the financial infrastructure for Black Lives Matter. “In 2016, BLM Global Network approached Thousand Currents to create a fiscal sponsorship agreement,” Thousand Currents explains on its website. “Thousand Currents, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, provides the legal and administrative framework to enable BLM to fulfill its mission.”

Rosenberg is a 1960s radical who was a member of the notoriously violent Weather Underground. According to Influence Watch, “Rosenberg’s terrorism reached a peak when she and other radicals led the May 19th Communist Organization” in the late 1970s and early ’80s. M19 was a fully committed, violent revolutionary organization.

“The nation’s only female-led Communist terror group, it helped break a convicted cop killer out of prison in 1979 and organized a number of bombings around the country,” Influence Watch’s dossier on Rosenberg details.  On Oct. 20, 1981, M19 robbed a Brink’s armored truck in Nanuet, New York. “While Rosenberg maintained her innocence in the Brink’s robbery, a report by the New York State Criminal Justice Institute placed Rosenberg at the Mount Vernon safe-house that served as a staging location for the assault,” Influence Watch reports.

Rosenberg was arrested by federal authorities three years later, in November 1984, at a New Jersey storage unit “stuffed with 740 pounds of leaking explosives,” according to a report in The New York Post. “The nitroglycerine oozing from her poorly maintained cache of dynamite — stolen from a Texas construction firm four years earlier — was dangerous and highly unstable,” the Post account reads.

She was sentenced to 58 years in prison but had her sentence commuted in 2001 by outgoing President Bill Clinton, who took a break from pilfering the White House furniture on his way out the door to free this dangerous woman.

Manson Cheerleader for Human Rights

Amazingly, Rosenberg is not the only ex-Weather Underground radical with high standing in well-funded leftist organizations of today. Bernardine Dohrn is at this very moment officially listed as vice-chair of the Children Rights Division of Human Rights Watch, a very well known international NGO.

Far from being a social pariah given her violence-embracing past, Dohrn has been a respected figure in Chicago progressive circles for decades. She enjoyed a long career as a law professor at Northwestern University. Her husband, fellow ex-militant Bill Ayers, served on the board of a Chicago grant-making organization, the Woods Fund, along with future president Barack Obama in the late 1990s-early 2000s.

“Bill Ayers is very respected and prominent in Chicago as a civic activist,” Laura S. Washington, chairwoman of the Woods Fund, said in 2008 when Hillary Clinton, of all people, tried to make the Ayers-Obama connection a campaign issue in her first failed White House race. “He has a national reputation as an educator. That’s why he’s on our board,” Washington said, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Very respected. Here’s what Dohrn infamously said of the Charles Manson Family murderers:

“First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into the victim’s stomach! Wild!”

Human Rights Watch is, of course, an ally of Black Lives Matter. It also gives vent to many of the same radical goals. In a Feb. 24 video, Nicole Austin-Hillery, U.S. Program Executive Director for HRW, declared that reparations for black descendants of slavery should be a key issue in the 2020 election. “The government ensured that trauma was passed down through the generations rather than wealth, and systemic discrimination continues to this very day,” Austin-Hillery said.

“Black American communities deserve repair, reinvestment, and reconciliation,” she continued. “So, I’ll be listening to hear whether the candidates share their thoughts on reparations and the many forms it can take for the descendants of enslaved Africans and victims of Jim Crow discrimination in America.”

Now, you may ask yourself, besides having female Marxist revolutionaries in high positions, what else do Human Rights Watch and Black Lives Matter have in common? If you answered, “George Soros,” give yourself a cookie.

In 2010, the progressive globalist billionaire pledged a whopping $100 million over 10 years to Human Rights Watch via his Open Society Foundations philanthropy. “Human Rights Watch is one of the most effective organizations I support,” Soros said. “Human rights underpin our greatest aspirations: they’re at the heart of open societies.”

The Washington Times reported in 2016 that BLM had received “more than $33 million in grants” from Soros’s Open Society Foundations. That same year, Breitbart reported that “hacked documents” revealed that at an Open Society meeting 2015, Soros agents discussed “specifically whether we should seek to shape the [BLM] movement as opposed to facilitate its direct action.”

Yes, the news that violent radicals are movers and shakers in the leftist push to foment racial division and strife is significant and noteworthy. But it is the unmistakable signs of extreme networked coordination behind the “mass rallies of the people” that have rocked the country this summer that should honestly give Americans pause. Susan Rosenberg has a long and bloody resume of destruction. But influential figures lurking behind the scenes are financing her revolutionary fantasies. They represent the real threat to this country and the tradition of freedom we now see under attack in the streets.
