BLM: It’s Marxism, Not Black Lives, That Really Matters

If actions speak louder than words, then what is BLM telling us?

The avowed Marxists leading Black Lives Matter (BLM) appear to be living out their ideology with aplomb. If the 20th century is any indication, killing their own is what Marxists do best. On that score, it cannot be denied that BLM is doing a bang-up job.

The murder of an 8-year-old black girl in Atlanta this weekend accentuated what the numbers reveal: that it’s doctrine and philosophy — not lives — that matter to the BLM movement. Little kids like Secoriea Turner are merely roadkill to its ideological principles. People are expendable so long as Marxist dogma abides on the road to revolution. This is primarily because individuals don’t matter in the communist world. It’s all about collectivism. [perfectpullquote align=”right” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”24″]BLM has served to ratchet up the violence against blacks…[/perfectpullquote]

In reviewing those shot in the CHAZ/CHOP autonomous zone in Seattle, it’s the facts that matter. Two black teenagers, ages 16 and 19, were killed, and a black 14-year-old was critically wounded*. In Oakland, CA, black Federal Protective Services Officer Dave Patrick Underwood was slain. In Chicago, the deadliest day in 60 years occurred recently in what can only be termed a black-on-black killing spree. The Chicago Sun-Times reported: “’We’ve never seen anything like it at all,’ said Max Kapustin, the senior research director at the crime lab. ‘I don’t even know how to put it into context. It’s beyond anything that we’ve ever seen before.’” Unsurprisingly, according to the Sun-Times, “Most homicide victims in Chicago are young, black men, and the suspects are, too.”

Among these victims of Black Lives Marxism: a father, a high school student, a college freshman. These people are nothing more than collateral damage to the anarchists. BLM has served to ratchet up the violence against blacks, and the nationwide death toll mounts. This holiday weekend, instead of celebrating the birth of America, the inner cities smoldered with large-scale, widespread violence. More and more, the media hide the race of the individuals whose lives were taken, so it’s nearly impossible to calculate the exact number of blacks who have died in the BLM pogrom.

A frustrated and disgusted White House press secretary alluded to this when she fired a final salvo at the correspondents present at a news conference in the James Brady Briefing Room on Monday, July 6. Kayleigh McEnany chided:

“I was asked probably 12 questions about the Confederate flag. This president is focused on action. I’m a little dismayed that I didn’t receive one question on the deaths that we got in this country this weekend. I didn’t receive one question about New York City shooting doubling for the third straight week, and over the last seven days shooting skyrocketed by 142% — not one question. I didn’t receive one question about five children who were killed. And I’ll leave you with this remark by a dad — it broke my heart — a dad of an 8-year-old lost in Atlanta this weekend, ‘They say black lives matter? You killed a child. She didn’t do nothing to nobody.’”

The radical left operating within the media may omit these deaths from their pages and the race of the fallen, but it is not lost on those living in these poor urban communities that their black lives don’t seem to matter to the BLM Marxists. This comes as no surprise to those who have studied the reality of this ideology for decades.

In fact, what we see happening throughout this civil unrest in the United States lines up perfectly within the Marxist framework. Author David Satter wrote in The Wall Street Journal, “Communists committed murder on such a scale as to all but eliminate the value of life and to destroy the individual conscience in survivors.” Best estimates are that 100 million people were killed in the 100 years of communist rule.

There seems to be a giant disconnect between what BLM says and does. The adage “actions speak louder than words” should play heavily here. Intentions are better judged by what people do than by what comes out of their mouths. If that is the case, then what BLM says in a shrill voice is:

Black lives don’t matter.
