Who is Tommy Robinson and why should you care? He is an English political activist and patriot. He has been a strong voice in raising the concerns about multiculturalism, especially the rise of radical Islam in Britain. For years he has been a thorn in the side of the pro-Islamist British government. Now they have decided to take him down – for good.
Liberty Nation has written about this Orwellian dystopia here.
What has made Tommy Robinson such a pariah? You will find plenty of damnations that he is a “far-right extremist”, an “Islamophobe” or a “racist” who spreads “hate speech.” You know the drill. But are the accusations true?
A thought experiment
Let us try to answer that with a thought experiment. Imagine we transport Tommy Robinson back in time to United Kingdom in 1944. How would he have been viewed by his peers and by the government?
Most likely he would have been a soldier preparing for D-day, June 6, to fight the evil Nazis. Why? He is a patriot who loves his country and wants to defend it against anyone who tries to take it away from him and his stock.
If he had survived the Normandy invasion, he would have returned home as a war hero, hailed for his bravery and resilience to fight for his nation.
A reverse thought experiment
Now let us try to do this thought experiment in reverse. Let us imagine we could bring British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and the British and American soldiers who invaded Normandy in 1944 forward in time to present day. How would they have been treated?
Winston Churchill would unquestionably have been branded as “far right” and some of his writings would have landed him in prison for “hate speech.” That’s not hyperbole. In 2014 politician Paul Weston was arrested for quoting passages from Winston Churchill’s 1899 book The River War.
Similarly, most of the young Englishmen who defended Britain from Hitler would have been labeled “racist” and “far right.”
What about the American soldiers who helped free Europe from Nazism? They would have been denied entry into the UK on suspicions of terrorism, their presence deemed “not conducive to the common good.” Again, that is not hyperbole, because it is what happened to Canadian freelance journalist and libertarian Lauren Southern recently.
Everyone is “far right”
In fact, pretty much everyone throughout history would have been labeled “far right” by the standard of the mainstream media and the political elite. That also includes present-day Europeans. A poll conducted last year showed that the majority of EU citizens wanted to stop all immigration from majority Muslim countries.
The real question is: how far left do you have to be to label most people throughout human history as “far right”? We get a chilling answer to that question by looking at what kind of people who have agreed with the political elites on their views of globalism, immigration and national boundaries. This list includes people like: Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot and, yes, Karl Marx.
The mainstream media and the political elite want you to believe that the only politically moderate people on the planet are those who happen to agree with some of the greatest genocidal dictators that humanity has ever seen. Draw your conclusions from that.
