Conservatives and Republicans are thwarting the election process – so says the left amid the hysteria of looming midterms and a pitiful preview of the much-hyped Blue Wave. Aided by Russian bots and unrestrained colluding with the Kremlin, are conservatives attempting to rig the midterms? At least that is the claim made by Democrats who can’t bear to contemplate that defeat will again be snatched from victory at the 11th hour.
#WalkAway isn’t about people of color.
This go ‘round, Russian bots are rumored to be driving the #WalkAway movement and misleading Americans about a grassroots campaign to abandon the party of violence, lies, and outright thuggery — the liberal mindset.
The idea was floated months ago by left-biased journo David A. Love – a man who wrote that dastardly Republicans were sneakily “attempting to peel off votes by dividing black and Latino voters over the issue of immigration.” Here’s the rub: #WalkAway isn’t about people of color. It’s a movement, for all Americans, to question blind loyalty to the Democratic Party.
Love’s statement speaks volumes about the dismally failing strategy of identity politics, routinely employed by the left and indicative of an inability of the party elites to see beyond their glorious plantation days.
And that attitude has had the unintended consequence of pushing this hashtag movement to soaring success.
A Fractured Party
Former President and agitator-in-chief Barack Obama was a master at dividing people of different races, force feeding the narrative of oppression and exclusion, to motivate his flock to stay in the field. Well, Hispanics in one field, blacks in another, and the LGBTQ parked in front of the television watching cable news. Scare ‘em, save ‘em, repeat, using mirror-image tactics for each demographic, while whispering in their ear “You are special.”
Hey, it worked for decades. But something happened in 2016, and now the Democratic Party has experienced a psychological break of epic proportions. With the cataclysmic rise of progressives, Socialists, and Communists, bastardizations are sprouting from small planks in the platform.
It has become the body host for multiple loud voices consisting of vastly different personalities. What appears to be a Sybil-level schizophrenic break frankly is freaking out old-school Democrats.
Hence the birth and success of #WalkAway.
On the Offensive
After Love’s ridiculous accusation that Russians were driving the #WalkAway movement, articles began to appear on the Internet, and advocacy media types and talking heads jumped on the Russian bot bandwagon.
Fast forward three short months to see that the #WalkAway grassroots campaign continues to flourish. Liberty Nation’s Jeff Charles highlights the origins of the movement and consequent upsurge of critical thinking by once-complacent Democrats. It’s worth your time to get up to speed by clicking here.
Yes, this awakening is “triggering” sheer terror for liberals, although you won’t see or hear about it from the likes of CNN, MSNBC, and the networks. But a quick perusal of social media pages, for all Americans to see, displays the power of the people leaving the Democratic Party in the dust. They told their stories, listened to each other, organized, and promoted their cause. Recently, thousands marched in the nation’s capital, straight, gay, men, women, transgender, black, white, brown, and every varicolor in between.
The event was wildly successful. You can see for yourself on the campaign’s Facebook page. Be prepared to cheer for the rebels – real people, not bots.
Being Wrong: Compounded
The Democrats are spiraling downward in a spectacular fashion, and Love is yet another example of a despairing cog in the wheel of a sputtering party machine, failing time and again, since 2016. The botched approach of blaming everyone and everything for their continued loss of political ground has grown wearisome for Americans of free and unfettered thought.
It’s almost unfathomable how out of touch and ineffective their political strategies have become. If Democrats were on the righteous path for America, with or without a handful of Russian bots, #WalkAway simply would not exist.
