Texas Targets Big Pharma Over COVID Vaccines

Did the government subsidize a defective product?

The red guard cartel – the government, the mainstream media, and leftist organizations and activists –want to move on from the coronavirus pandemic because more evidence is coming to light that many policies they proposed and enacted were mendacious or just plain wrong. Because they might have potentially destroyed the educational opportunities and development of an entire generation, some officials are not willing to forgive and forget, choosing to probe into various participants and their actions during the once-in-a-century public health crisis. For one Attorney General in the Lone Star State, this will include Big Pharma and its COVID vaccines.

Texas Targets COVID Vaccines

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton will launch an investigation into Big Pharma, determining if pharmaceutical giants – Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, and Pfizer – misrepresented their COVID vaccines to the government and the consuming public. Paxton also will determine if these corporations participated in gain-of-function research – an experiment to bolster the transmissibility and virulence of pathogens – and misled the people.

Paxton’s efforts, if successful, could turn out to have significant consequences for COVID vaccine manufacturers, especially since they had been granted legal immunity. In other words, experts warn that these corporations, which enjoyed record profits in the last couple of years, could face class-action lawsuits from individuals who have potentially suffered injuries from the mRNA jabs.

“The catastrophic effects of the pandemic and subsequent interventions forced on our country and citizens deserve intense scrutiny, and we are pursuing any hint of wrongdoing to the fullest,” Paxton said in a statement. “This pandemic was a deeply challenging time for Americans. If any company illegally took advantage of consumers during this period or compromised people’s safety to increase their profits, they will be held responsible.”

It has been asserted that the COVID vaccine is an inferior product. If these charges are true, would this be the fault of the private sector or the federal government?

Subsidizing a Bad Product

In March 2021, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told MSNBC host Rachel Maddow that data showed “vaccinated people do not carry the virus, don’t get sick, and that it’s not just in the clinical trials, but it’s also in real-world data.” Maddow also informed audiences that the coronavirus “cannot use a vaccinated person as a host to get more people” and that the “virus does not infect them.” The patron saint of science, Dr. Anthony Fauci, confirmed to CBS’ Face the Nation that the vaccinated are “extremely unlikely” to transmit the virus. Even President Joe Biden weighed in during a July 2021 CNN town hall, telling the public that “you’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.” A few months later, the president assured everyone that they cannot spread COVID if they are vaccinated.

As the above backtracking suggests, the vaccines were not as effective as initially portrayed. Also research is now being discovered about side effects, even potentially life-altering ones. The CDC now says that only older adults and the immunocompromised should get a second dose of the updated vaccine. This is vastly different from just a year ago when the uniform opinion was that everyone must get the shot, even if you were isolated in the middle of the woods.

But how did an inferior product get to the market by an industry that has done a respectable job at keeping people alive? The government and its eternal money tree in the nation’s capital. Indeed, the US government under both Presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden spent tens of billions of dollars on COVID vaccine development and distribution and insisted that all Americans – young and old – receive inoculation. The Leviathan put all its resources into ensuring these vaccines would get to market as quickly as possible, despite the process typically being rigorous and lengthy.

Generally, there are several stages to manufacturing a vaccine, which can take up to ten years:

  • Produce the antigen preparation (inactivation).
  • Purify the isolated antigen (purification).
  • Combine the purified antigen with adjuvants, preservatives, and stabilizers (formulation).
  • Hold clinical trials.
  • Seek government authorization and approval.

Instead, the COVID vaccine was rushed and then conveniently released a couple of days after Trump had lost his re-election bid.

A New Market

In the end, the federal government created an entirely new market for Big Pharma to reap the rewards. Can anyone blame these pharmaceutical titans? Not necessarily. Even if these giants covered up critical data, it would be up to federal regulators to find them. Considering that these vaccines were going to be approved no matter what, the problem is with the government. Moreover, J&J and Pfizer making billions of dollars in additional profit from a pandemic is not surprising because the government facilitated an environment of fear, frenzy, and force, so most people rolled up their sleeves. Lastly, if the government is doling out free money, it is the fiduciary responsibility of these publicly traded companies to accept the handouts, no matter how exorbitant or egregious.

Three years ago, you were likely labeled a conspiracy theorist if you questioned one or two of the leading narratives perpetrated by the Fourth Estate. Today, you are being gaslighted into believing that everything that occurred before your eyes never happened. Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers, wanted to open the schools as early as possible. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau never forced anyone to take the vaccine. Dr. Fauci never advocated for shutting down society. Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.
