Illegal immigration is not just an American problem. Tides of migrants forcing their way into other countries seems to be a spreading problem. France is just the latest victim, as hundreds of African migrants rushed an airport terminal, proclaiming the country no longer belongs to its citizens. During a time when France is in the midst of a domestic challenge with the Yellow Vests protests, a horde of demanding illegal migrants is causing even more chaos.
The protest was organized by the group La Chapelle Debout, whose members call themselves “Black Vests.” They claim that France does not belong to the French but to anyone. The demonstration took place on May 19 in Terminal 2 of the Charles de Gaulle airport, where more than 400 illegals blocked travelers from boarding their planes and demanded to meet with Prime Minister Edouard Philippe to discuss immigration policies. The group also demanded that the airlines “stop any financial, material, logistical or political participation in deportations.”
A bystander caught much of the event on video and posted it to Twitter. In the feed, a person can be heard chanting: “France does not belong to the French! Everyone has a right to be here!”

The Black Vests insisted that Philippe provide them permanent legal status, or they would not leave the airport. “We have targeted Air France, and other actions will follow,” a protester told local newspaper Le Parisien. At one point, some of the demonstrators turned on the tactical police, assaulting the officers and pushing their way through a barricade, which is captured in this video.
Although the Black Vests did finally leave, it is unclear what, if anything, was accomplished. To some, a tweet that says, “And here are they screaming give us all the papers we need and stop the deportation of our friends, at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in #Paris. and demand prime minister Édouard Philippe, will give all of them permanent legal status to stay in #France,” suggests that Philippe caved, but nothing has been confirmed.
The Migration Crisis
Is the immigration crisis becoming a scenario of “might equals right”? It seems that way. Somewhere a bell has tolled sending a mass call everywhere, signaling to people that they can force their way into other countries. Borders mean nothing. Laws mean nothing. Respect means nothing to these forceful travelers.
And if they get stopped, what happens? They up the ante, making even more outrageous demands. One group of illegal immigrants had the audacity to demand President Donald Trump provide them $50,000 each and they would go home. These determined voyagers are encouraged by liberals, some of whom even provide the aliens the means to sneak across borders. Still, when offered sanctuary in a country they are traversing, most will not take it because they are heading for the promised land of the United States. A caravan of immigrants stopped at the U.S. southern border were offered asylum in Mexico and refused it.
This is why immigration reform is so necessary and integral to the survival of our nation and our way of life. For the naysayers who want open borders, it is time they take a hard, long look at reality and ask themselves: Do you want this type of person living next door to you and your family?
