Fly Over Folks Dunk on LeBron and DC Statehood

How many flippin’ states do we need?

Editor’s Note: While the media and other leftist elites ignore the millions of folks living in “flyover” states, they do so at their own peril; it was this silent majority that put President Trump in the White House. Each week, Liberty Nation gives voice to the hard-working heartlanders who are silent no more.

As Mother Nature, that cantankerous hag, buried a few Midwest and upper Midwest states under a blanket of snow and flora-killing low temps, D.C. swamp creatures lashed, splashed, and schemed over how to increase their cold-blooded power with statehood. From his palace of Self-Anointed-Greatness, NBA star Lebron James mimicked auntie Maxine, inciting violence against law enforcement, but he soon paid the price, suffering a deluge of nasty hashtags on social media (reader discretion is advised).

Reptilian Dream

At it again, the Democrats are attempting to win statehood for the District of Columbia. Realizing they could use a cushion of electoral votes in the next push-comes-to-shove national election, the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives voted “aye” in advancing legislation to grant statehood.

Liberty Nation’s Chief Political Correspondent Graham J. Noble reminds us:

“Originally, the District of Columbia was established on land ceded to the federal government by the states of Maryland and Virginia, though Virginians had second thoughts later and reclaimed their territory. Still, there has never been any reason why residents of D.C. could not have been granted the right to vote in either Virginia or Maryland – or, today, just in Maryland.”

District of Columbia residents have representation if they exercise their right to vote. It’s not a complicated process.

As Liana Neal in Prescott, AZ warns us: “Write to your senators! HR-51 passes It is not just Washington D.C. getting to be its own State. It is so much more! It could end our country as we know it! Do your research!” Mary Hill in Minnesota agreed and added: “D.C. was never to be a state. The founding fathers warned us that too much power would already be at the capital, and that is why they weren’t a state.”

Ah, truth and logic.

Shut Your Piehole And Do Some Research

Shortly after the guilty verdict was read out in the Chauvin trial in Minnesota, radical activists found a new target for their rage against police. In Columbus, OH, an officer shot and killed 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant, who was wielding a knife and threatening another girl. As Liberty Nation reports:

“The bodycam footage shows the officer shooting her as she was attacking another black teen with a knife. So far, it is believed that the police were called to the scene due to an altercation. Some have stated that Bryant may have been acting in self-defense, but the footage appears to show her threatening the other girl.”

[ios-app align=”left”] That’s the backstory. The front and center story are of two famous athletes responding remarkedly different to said tragedy, causing an uproar followed by a tweetstorm of nasty and mean hashtags. LeBron James – who Dave Metcalf, in Arizona describes thusly: “When you completely fail at becoming Michael Jordan, you become Colin Kaepernick instead.” – seems hell-bent on becoming a BLM icon. LeBron issued this tweet and photo of the officer-involved: “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” The NBA star included an hourglass emoji in his tweet. That’s not worrisome at all. And lo and behold, Orenthal James Simpson thought so as well, replying: “Wait for the facts! #LeBronJames.”

Yes, that, O.J. Simpson. The irony was not lost on flyover folks. As Regina Griffin Smith from Minnesota said: “Dang, even OJ Scissorhands is smarter than Lebron — and btw Lebron, Michael Jordan will always be the GOAT.” Insult to injury in a few words. Tracy Culver in Phoenix flatly stated: “He should be arrested for threatening the life of a police officer. Unreal.”

The real fun was reading the hashtags across social media sites as LeBron scrambled to delete his ridiculous tweet. A sampling follows: #onceadouchealwaysadouche, #screwyoulebronjames, and the favorite of a bunch of angry New Mexicans, #whothef—isLeBronjames?

Perhaps this will teach LeBron to “shut-up and dribble.” When the peasants’ revolt, it sure can get bloody in Tweeterland. And instead of edicts, his words are just words.
