Gubernatorial
Republican Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves and Democratic state Attorney General Jim Hood battled it out to replace term-limited Governor Phil Bryant. With 52.3% of the vote, Tate secured victory as over 99% of the vote was counted.

Lieutenant Governor
Republican Delbert Hosemann won the race to replace now-Governor-elect Tate Reeves as LG, winning 60.3% of the vote against Democrat Jay Hughes.
Result: Republican Hold
Mississippi
Gubernatorial

Attorney General
Republican Lynn Fitch beat out Jennifer Riley Collins by over 16 points to secure the position presently held by Democrat Jim Hood who failed to win the governorship. Result: Republican Gain State Senate After the 2015 election, the State Senate's 52 seats comprised 33 Republicans and 19 Democrats. Yesterday's results now show 36 Republicans and 16 Democrats. Result: Republican Hold State House In 2015, the House's 122 seats were made up pf 72 GOP, 46 Dem, and four vacant. This election (not all results in yet) shows 76 GOP, 43 Dem, and one Independent. Result: Republican Hold
