Arkansas Dem Senate Nominee and How Elites Grow Pols Like Crops

The down-home Arkansas farm gal running as the Democrat nominee for the US Senate is a Clinton-cultivated social activist. It’s just the latest example of careerist political operatives in blue donning the garb of regular American working folk to disguise their longstanding service in the cause of radical and transformative social change.

Hallie Shoffner is running as the “sixth-generation farmer” seeking to “unseat” Republican incumbent Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR). This is populist, working-class outsider framing with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Shoffner’s official Senate campaign website is covered with more farming pictures than a tractor convention. But beneath the smooth tilled-earth surface lies the murky world of the networked progressive establishment elite.

Shoffner has declared that in 2025 she was forced to shutter the family farm and a seed research company founded by her parents. She painted herself and her family as the victims of bad government. “Many factors went into the decision, she said, including higher input costs, low commodity prices, tariffs, and bad federal policies,” Talk Business & Politics, an Arkansas news site, said of a discussion with her at the time.

“If I can’t farm, I’m going to fight,” Shoffner told the outlet, sketching out her plans to run for the Senate.

But while many Americans from all walks of life are indeed struggling today, Shoffner does not appear to be one of them. “[F]inancial records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show that Shoffner is worth up to $3.1 million, holds a position in a family trust, and lives nearly 90 miles away from her family’s farm in a nationally recognized historic home in Little Rock,” the news outlet reported August 26.

Even the most cursory investigation into her background quickly reveals her orientation is far more Hillary than hayseed.

Clinton School for Nonprofit Sector Service

Shoffner attended Vanderbilt University as an undergraduate, “then went on to study public service at the Clinton School of Public Service,” a branch of the University of Arkansas located on the grounds of the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, her campaign site notes.

The name of the school isn’t just an honorific. Students are trained to work in the global progressive NGO complex so avidly promoted by Bill and Hillary Clinton.

The Clinton School “gives students the knowledge and experience to further their careers in the areas of nonprofit, governmental, volunteer, or private sector service,” its website states. “Whether your passion is education policy, health care, legal issues, corporate responsibility, the environment, or the fight against poverty and hunger, the Clinton School can give you the skills and experiences necessary to make a difference.”

While attending Bubba U, Shoffner served as a student “volunteer” at one of the Clinton Global Initiative annual meetings in New York. The globalist get-together of world leaders and other elites serves as “a great experience for an aspiring group of public servants,” the announcement listing Shoffner’s participation declares.

Planting Globalist Seeds in Peru

Shoffner is a featured student in an undated “Panel on International Project” that highlights the globalist progressivism of the Clinton School. Students on the panel were to “discuss the work they did in partnership with international nonprofit organizations and governments,” the document states.

Tellingly, China was the only nation represented in all four panel discussions. Other topics included supporting worldwide “refugee” migration in Tanzania, fighting “climate change in the Eastern Caribbean,” and Shoffner’s work in Peru helping to “develop a fundraising strategy and donor database for PROMSEX, a nonprofit that works to promote gender equality, empower women and eliminate gender-based discrimination and violence.”

“Gender equality” is the verbiage globalist activists carefully employ as they meddle in the affairs of sovereign nations. The term ultimately means one thing: abortion rights. At PROMSEX, Shoffner, the rustic farm girl from Arkansas, served as part of a foreign contingent working to push abortion in a traditionally Catholic country located some 3,400 miles from the US border.

“Our implementation story from PROMSEX showcases how persistent advocacy and litigation strategies were used in Peru to tackle misconceptions that abortion is illegal under all circumstances,” the arch-globalist World Health Organization wrote in a 2023 report that highlights what the organization was up to. “Advocacy led to a national abortion guideline that acknowledges abortion as a health-care service, and recognizes that safe, timely and respectful abortion can prevent severe and permanent damage to women’s health.”

Guess who funds PROMSEX as it labors to import modern Western sexual values to Peru? You got it right away, didn’t you?

PROMSEX is “a [George] Soros-funded organization that funded Lima’s [gay] pride parade,” the Free Beacon writes.

When she came back to America, Shoffner had new duties to attend to.

“Shoffner returned to Peru in the summer of 2011 before becoming executive director of Seis Puentes, an Arkansas nonprofit that helps ‘engage [illegal aliens] in the process’ of navigating US government systems, she said in a 2012 interview,” the Free Beacon adds.

Weren’t we supposed to be talking about farming?

“Shoffner then worked as deputy campaign manager for then-state [Democrat] Rep. Tracy Steele’s unsuccessful mayoral campaign before joining Advantage Communications Inc., ‘a full-service, marketing, advertising and public relations agency located in Little Rock, Arkansas’ and owned by Steele’s brother, Michael,” the news site continues. Keyword here: connected.

Next Stop the Senate?

It was in this orbit of crafting social change via the heavily funded NGO cudgel that Shoffner sought to carve out her life’s work. Her turn as a farmer seems to serve mainly as a prop to further that aim. “A decade ago, Hallie Shoffner quit a career in non-profits to help her aging parents run the family farm,” is how friendly wire service Reuters put it in a splashy August 31 feature piece on her Senate run.

As with the “working class waitress” with the George Soros employment history running for a US House seat in Wisconsin, Hallie Shoffner is another example of how aspirants for major office in America today have been cultivated for roles in government well in advance.

Jocelyn Benson is the Democrat nominee for governor of Michigan. She is also a former paid operative for the disgraced Soros-funded Southern Poverty Law Center.

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is currently the subject of controversy due to his inordinately close friendship with sex scandal-scarred ex-Rep. Eric Swalwell, whose rapid political rise all the way to the upper chamber of Congress is otherwise inexplicable, is a 2013 “alumnus” of The Transatlantic Inclusion Leaders Network, a program created by the German Marshall Fund of the United States. GMFUS is another internationalist organization funded by George Soros.

The Fund is quite open about its intention of growing future crops of political officeholders in the US and Europe, much like Hallie Shoffner’s parents grew soybean seeds.

“The TILN network has more than 200 alumni advancing to higher office, including the European Parliament and US Congress, among other roles,” the program has boasted.

Selected, not elected, is not just an edgy talking point. Sadly, it is rapidly becoming the norm in American politics today.
