With all the pomp and circumstance that America can muster, Donald J. Trump has been inaugurated the 45th President of the United States. Despite all the gnashing of teeth on the left, the skies did not go dark, the waters did not recede, the world did not end. The United States prides itself on the peaceful transfer of power and that is precisely what occurred in Washington, DC on a memorable gray, rainy day.
The businessman billionaire takes office amid much controversy as well as great expectations.
Some are determined to have their voices heard and that, after all, is the right of every American. Protests have been organized and will garner much media attention in the coming weeks or perhaps months (See our article on 100 Days of Disruption) but eventually those will come to an end and President Trump will have to get down to the business of making good on his campaign promises.
