A new report shows that the lawmaker, while being a vocal proponent for canceling rent during the COVID-19 pandemic, was not exactly keen on practicing what she was preaching. While seeking to force landlords not to collect rent, she was happily getting paid by her own tenants. This is the latest example of the “good for thee, but not for me” thinking that has become a hallmark of progressive orthodoxy.
