Last Christmas, LibertyNation.com was but a twinkle in my eye. Where could all of us “deporables” go to get fresh, bold, innovative and yes – honest – news about our republic? That was the question we asked ourselves. And through the grace of God and a few people who believed in our mission, Liberty Nation became a reality. So, this Christmas the question we are asking is: What has been accomplished in these last 11 months at Liberty Nation?
Our goal at LN has never been to be the biggest or most popular conservative site. We didn’t want to be known as “click bait” but rather a source for honest information without all the leftist propaganda. But there were other aspirations. We wanted to be known for excellent writing and analysis with solid sources and credibility as our backbone. “No fake news here” was to be our calling card.
As such we were gratified when an independent third-party review of Liberty Nation was conducted by Media Bias/Fact Check:
“In review, Liberty Nation produces articles and information that strongly favors conservative politics. There is low to moderate use of loaded language that favors the right. Liberty Nation sources their information to credible sources, and in general, the articles are very well written. Overall, we rate Liberty Nation Right Biased based on story selection and High for factual reporting due to proper sourcing of information.”
“Very well written” articles and “high” for factual reporting is precisely what we are seeking at Liberty Nation. So, we surfed through the Media Bias/Fact Check site to see what kind of ratings our like-minded friends in the media were receiving. As such, we were surprised and appreciative to see how we stacked up:

This is not meant to denigrate our friends on the right – far from it – but to highlight that here at LN we don’t let questionable facts slip through our fingers and onto the page. As positive as this news is to us, we also had the ambition of being innovative.
Thus, we have developed a number of new ways for you to get news and analysis. There’s LN TV which features brief conversations with our authors about the articles they have written. There is The Uprising Podcast which offers insightful and consumable information for those who enjoy that medium. We have our longstanding Liberty Nation Radio which airs on dozens of stations nationwide and three times every weekend here in The DC Swamp. And then we added Author Live Chat where readers can simply click and reach one of our authors to have a private one-on-one conversation instead of leaving themselves open to the vicissitudes of the commentariat.
Finally, no story about LN is complete without a mention of our extraordinary staff. Fifteen of the most honest, decent and talented writers hailing from Indiana to the U.K. and from Arkansas to Norway, make up the Liberty Nation tribe. We are black, white, Christian, Hispanic, millennial and everything in between – but most of all, we are people who care very deeply out this republic and have answered the call to add truth to the American media dialogue.
