The establishment media is at it again. Not content to just report the news, they have decided to perpetuate lies about the Trump administration.
I’ve said this many times before, but I’ll say it again: The establishment media is not reporting all of the facts.
They are not attempting to keep us informed. They want to influence us into believing what they want us to believe. In order to do this, they have resorted to skewing news stories to reflect their world view. In some cases, they have chosen to publish outright lies.
Don’t believe me? Keep reading.
Last Thursday, NBC reported that President Trump was going to reduce sanctions on the FSB, which is one of Russia’s top intelligence agencies. It wasn’t true. John Nolte describes the situation in a piece for the Daily Wire,
Peter Alexander, NBC’s national correspondent, tweeted, “US Treasury Dept easing Obama admin sanctions to allow companies to do transactions with Russia’s FSB, successor org to KGB.”
Less than an hour later, he wrote, “Source familiar w sanctions says it’s a technical fix, planned under Obama, to avoid unintended consequences of cybersanctions.
Nolte also notes that Vanity Fair is still running the uncorrected article.
Another fake story was delivered by Jake Tapper of CNN. In an interview with Kellyanne Conway, Tapper said,
“I want to ask you, in Quebec City last week, a white right-wing terrorist opened fire on a mosque filled with men, women and children, President Trump hasn’t tweeted one thing about this. Why hasn’t he offered sympathy to the neighbors in the north?”
This is obviously a statement in the form of a question. He is saying that President Trump never expressed sympathy for the attack on the mosque in Quebec. But, it’s not true. Trump did call Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to offer his condolences. It only takes a simple Google search to find this out.
Another lie perpetrated by the establishment media was about Trump’s conversation with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto. After a tense conversation with Australia’s Prime Minister, the Washington Post reported that President Trump’s conversation with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto was equally confrontational. The Post suggested that Trump threatened to send troops into Mexico to deal with drug smugglers.
This wasn’t true.
Later, it was found that Trump offered to send U.S. military personnel to assist the Mexican government in dealing with the drug cartels. It wasn’t a threat. It was an offer to help. The Mexican government also denied the allegations that President Trump threatened to invade Mexico.
These are just a few examples of the biased and untrue stories that the establishment media uses to vilify President Trump. But this is not a surprise to conservatives. The media does the same thing to every other Republican politician. It is why Americans no longer trust the news media.
It is a well-known fact that the left controls most of the establishment media. They have used the media to further their agenda. They have chosen to function as a propaganda machine for the left. But this is not going to fly anymore. Americans have risen up. We have seen that the establishment media is manipulating us to subscribe to their worldview. If the media wants to be taken seriously, they must stop propagandizing, and start reporting.
Don’t hold your breath.
