Is the CDC Dancing to the Dems’ Tune on Coronavirus Treatments?

Someone’s playing the fiddle while America burns – and it isn’t Trump.

The Democrats have proven time and again they are only interested in stockpiling political power. Along for the ride are countless government bureaucracies ready and willing to dance to the insipid tunes playing in the background while American lives remain in jeopardy. Leaping on the bandwagon during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has finally allowed a political party to punch their dance card by quietly removing dosage guidelines on hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine: two treatments that many physicians tout as “miracle drugs” and the same two that the president is continually talking about.

Before the website update, the CDC stated: “Although optimal dosing and duration of hydroxychloroquine for treatment of COVID-19 are unknown, some U.S. clinicians have reported anecdotally different hydroxychloroquine dosing.” On the heels of that message came a playlist of normal dosage recommendations currently being prescribed.

The website now advises that “there are no drugs or other therapeutics approved by the US Food and Drug Administration to prevent or treat COVID-19.”

Who’s playing the fiddle while America succumbs to plumes of panic? It isn’t President Trump.

CDC is on it – Not

The FDA approved an Emergency Use Authorization for chloroquine phosphate and hydroxychloroquine sulfate – because many prescribing physicians have seen remarkable and swift improvements in patients suffering from the virus. These substances have worked as anti-inflammatory agents since they were first synthesized in the early 20th century. What’s the problem, Democrats: the success rates or that Trump has been the drugs’ main cheerleader since the onset of Coronavirus?

Have we learned nothing from the fishy FISA warrants perpetrated by the enemies of then-candidate for president, Donald J. Trump?

Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said hydroxychloroquine does not currently have any strong evidence that it’s effective in fighting COVID-19. As he stated recently, “We don’t operate on how you feel, we operate on what evidence and data is.”

Well, that is precisely why the FDA approved the release of the drugs from stockpiles. Try them and gather the needed data. As for now, physicians who need guidance on prescribing hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine will have to forgo asking the CDC for help and simply wing it – and that is a much more dangerous refrain than publishing the needed dosage of the medications. Is that what these fools in the media and political circles want for America? Who is the fiddler now?
