Call it tit for tat. Or pay to play. But whatever you label it, the current administration will be withholding the funding that provides lunches for kids in public schools unless districts comply with a radical progressive policy. Another heavy-handed comply or die mandate from President Joe Biden demands schools conform to gender-neutral private spaces. Those spaces include but are not limited to showers, bathrooms, and sleeping areas.
The Biden announcement radically pushes an Obama-era interpretation of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 to prohibit gender-identity discrimination. The current administration has admitted they are now “reinterpreting” – again – the last rendition of “discrimination based on sex,” adapting to the few that have no clue what gender to call their own.
The US Department of Agriculture was proud to announce, “Under the leadership of the Biden-Harris Administration, USDA and [Food Nutrition Services] FNS are issuing this interpretation to help ensure its programs are open, accessible and help promote food and nutrition security, regardless of demographics.”
It’s more than a little ironic the government excludes those who aren’t questioning their gender in the swath of “demographics.”
One could almost feel the joy emanating from the USDA as the statement continued: “USDA celebrates the achievements and contributions of transgender and gender non-conforming people everywhere. We’re committed to the values of equity and inclusion rooted in justice and equal opportunity for our employees and those we serve.”

The US government does not make assistance an easy process. And for those who have decided allowing guys in the gal’s bathroom is not their cup of tea, one can apply for some sort of religious exemption. But non-secular institutions would have to file public paperwork explaining why they essentially don’t approve of transgender or confused gender folks. That’s just another big can of worms no one should want to open. Who wants rainbow-clad gender-confused people picketing their kids’ school?
USDA officials are advising those hoping for an exemption to file paperwork, although Title IX does not require an application for deferment – it’s simply an option. So why the pressure to conform?
Fishsticks With a Side of Sexual Politics

According to the USDA, the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provided low-cost or free lunches to nearly 30 million children each school day in over 100,000 institutions (FY) 2019. This was just before COVID-19 regulations and lockdowns.
It’s a $14.2 billion program. And one that poor kids and others at risk of hunger rely on to get a balanced diet – at times, it may be the only meal they have on any given school day.
Starting this month, Biden’s new guidelines are, forcing schools to prioritize gender confusion and transgender issues in an environment of children as young as five. A thinking person would say this tactic qualifies as bullying. But, apparently, it’s okay if the president of the United States is the one doing the bullying, which is peculiar, seeing that this policy is designed to be inclusive.
This is no longer a bunch of promises made on the campaign trail. Now it’s an ultimatum for school administrations and parents: Embrace transgenderism or we won’t feed the kids.
