To Mask or Not to Mask?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could trust the folks manufacturing your paper face masks to actually care about your wellbeing? Well, they’re coming out of China – you know, the birthplace of Coronavirus – then you’re probably out of luck.

As Liberty Nation’s Leesa K. Donner explained:

“The mass production of paper masks in places like India and China has revealed some disturbing revelations. Videos making the Twitter rounds show masks being produced on floors in cramped, filthy environments. Sterile, they are not. Digging a little deeper in the Twitter-verse, one discovers a Chinese fellow wiping his shoes with the freshly produced facial covers. This is almost – but not quite – as stomach-turning as pictures taken at the Chinese ‘wet markets‘ where this whole Coronavirus thing allegedly began. If you haven’t eaten recently, take a moment to look at these two brief disconcerting videos.”

Leesa suggests verifying the origin of your mask before it touches your face, and that’s sound advice. What good does it do to hide from illness behind what amounts to filthy garbage shipped over from some third world country?

The pandemic has many shunning Chinese goods altogether. As this continues, expect to see more folks buying American than ever.

Biden’s Radical Backup

Remember how Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) was just too radical for the establishment Democrats? Well, they managed to rally behind Joe Biden enough to all but guarantee no one feels the Bern in November. But now the left – or the progressive media, at least – has tossed that rationale out the window entirely and is now trying to sell voters on the uber progressive Stacey Abrams as Biden’s VP. And let’s be clear, with Old Joe’s health in question as it is, we’re really talking about the person likely to become the next president if they somehow manage to defeat Trump.  As Liberty Nation’s Joe Schaeffer wrote:

“If there’s one thing that has been a staple of the 2020 Democratic presidential circus, it’s a complete lack of consistent logic. So of course a high-profile effort to sell radical Georgia politician Stacey Abrams as Joe Biden’s VP would make perfect sense within a party of such maddening volatility.”

Democrats didn’t want to send Bernie Sanders to the White House, so why does the media think Abrams will be any easier a pill to swallow?

What to Watch For

Bernie Sanders is still technically running for president, whether he has a chance or not. That means the so-called Bernie Bros are very much still in the game. How will they react if Biden announces Stacey Abrams of all people as his running mate?
