For the second time in three months, Vice President Kamala Harris is flying to Europe to represent the United States at a prominent globalist gathering dedicated to enhancing the so-called "rules-based international order." Americans are justified in asking why Harris, who has otherwise been almost completely missing in action throughout her time as VP, always finds time to meet with international elites.

In November, Harris jetted off to France to appear at the Paris Peace Forum, a well-heeled annual conference with a list of various “partners” that amounts to a who’s who of international power organizations. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are just a few of the listed supporters of the Peace Forum.
Its “mission statement” is avowedly globalist.
“Multilateral organizations with universal membership have legitimate mandates for the creation of rules and mechanisms to solve transnational problems,” PPF declares. “We pick up the slack when these institutions cannot act or when the solutions proposed are insufficient.”
Now Harris is off to Germany to attend the Feb. 18-20 Munich Security Conference, an affair so filled with upper-crust personages that it is said to surpass the Davos World Economic Forum as a must-go destination for the would-be masters of the universe. It was at the Munich Security Conference in Feb. 2021 that a gleeful President Joe Biden crowed in a virtual speech that “America is back” as a full-fledged member of the international consensus-building club. As Liberty Nation documented at the time, the 2020 Munich Security Report declared the concept of the nation-state to be a tired relic that had no place in the modern West.
In March 2021 Kamala Harris was appointed as the Biden administration’s “border czar” to allegedly tackle the chaos and human misery running wild on the porous U.S.-Mexico border. Almost a full year later, she has made exactly one visit to the border. Yet this same missing-in-action vice president can always be counted on to trek off to events such as Paris and Munich. Why is that?
Who’s the Boss?
One man’s name keeps popping up when examining Harris’s curious travel logs. Two times is a coincidence, three eyebrow-raising, and four a pattern, but what are we to make of five Harris activities involving progressive globalist billionaire George Soros?
The Paris Peace Forum is heavily backed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations. OSF was one of four “Strategic Partners” for the 2021 conference and Open Society President Mark Malloch Brown is a member of the forum’s “General Assembly.”
Soros also has a massive hand in the Munich Security Conference. Alexander Soros, son of George and Deputy Chairman at OSF, sits on its Advisory Council. George himself has spoken at the conference on multiple occasions. On Aug. 12, 2020, MSC tweeted out its “warmest congratulations” as Soros turned 90, noting that he had served as “a long-standing member of the [conference’s] Advisory Council.”
There’s more. Back in November, Harris had to miss giving a live speech to a virtual summit held by Democracy Alliance, a heavyweight progressive political organization funded by George Soros, because she was flying to Paris to attend the Soros-funded Paris Peace Forum.
“A source familiar with Harris' schedule confirmed to [a leading Washington newspaper] that she was slated to speak to the group of wealthy donors for the two-day ‘Saving Our Democracy Donor Summit,’” Fox News reported Nov. 9.
Harris was forced to pre-record her speech instead.
If you’re keeping score at home, this means that Kamala Harris, the “border czar” who has made one trip to the southern border, will have participated in three major George Soros-backed outings within a three-month period after her appearance in Munich.
In 2019, LN described an extremely unusual side trip Harris made as she was running for president. Harris “took a very deliberate moment away from her usual campaign stops to travel to a Washington, D.C. suburb of Northern Virginia,” we wrote. “She traveled there to boost the re-election campaign of state Delegate Kathy Tran. Tran became notorious in January for being the chief proponent of a bill to allow abortion without a time limit in the Old Dominion.”
Harris had introduced Soros via video message at a 2017 Democracy Alliance summit, and the DA was a major backer of an organization called the State Innovation Exchange, which writes pre-fabricated legislation for progressive state lawmakers such as Tran.
Tran had seemed bewildered by her own bill in the Virginia Legislature as she awkwardly attempted to defend its most heinous components, leading one to wonder if outside activists had indeed written it. The Washington Free Beacon reported in April 2019 that Tran had been featured at Democracy Alliance's 2019 Spring Partner Retreat and Strategy Conference. Fast forward a couple of years, and this same Kathy Tran was a featured voice at a 2021 State Innovation Exchange panel discussion on “expanding language access at the ballot box.”
How interesting.
The conclusion seems inescapable. The American people cannot count on seeing Kamala Harris, but George Soros and his progressive globalist network will always be able to rely on her coming when called.
