Is Brexit canceled? Are the people of Britain about to have their vote overturned in the name of “good EU relations”? Today is the deadline for the U.K. to leave the European Union, but a combination of Prime Minister Theresa May’s poor negotiating skills and a parliament that overwhelmingly prefers to be in the union has led to at least one delay already.
In this updating feed, Liberty Nation will be following the protests, the marches, the speeches and the key players as a nation takes to the streets to demand their vote is respected. Keep checking back in throughout the day.

Prime Minister Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement has failed for the third time. There is no parliamentary support for it, there is no public support for it. Is this the final straw in May’s leadership?
Brexiteers begin to gather for a march on Parliament square. Some led by Nigel Farage, others by the United Kingdom Independence Party, and others who are not aligned with any political organization.

For many British people, today has overtones of 1450, which was one of the key factors in the Wars of the Roses. Jack Cade led a popular revolt and a march on London that shook the very foundations of the nation. While it is not expected that any of today’s participants will resort to violence or rioting (and any form of illegal disruption is being STRONGLY warned against by march leaders), there is a growing feeling that the historic Brexit vote being ignored by Parliament is the first step to a more authoritarian country.
Conservative Member of Parliament, Priti Patel, is regarded as one of the few pro-Brexit politicians in the country. Here she gives a speech in the House of Commons outlining why PM Theresa May’s proposed Withdrawal Agreement (WA) ties the U.K. to the EU almost indefinitely.
