The Qatari government is teaching schoolchildren that Jews are seeking world dominion — and absolutely no one is surprised. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is unbending in his support of Palestine aggression against Israel and stalwartly stands by his assessment of Israel as a “terrorist state” hellbent on committing acts of genocide against the Islamic State. Business as usual, some might say.
…when cornered, Omar will deflect, claiming victim status…
But when members of the freshman class of the 216th Congress spew outrageous racist and hate-filled speech against millions of Jewish Americans and a tried-and-true ally, Israel, the cacophonous clanging of warning bells should be echoing across the land.
Newly elected Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) appears to have an almost innate hatred of Jews, the type of internal fire and rage that would make the likes of Louis Farrakhan blush with immediate attraction to the winsome Somali immigrant. And evidently, 267,703 Minnesotans found Omar to be such a breath of fresh air they shipped her off to Washington with near tickertape fanfare.
Racism is once again rampant on The Hill and protected by the Democratic Party.
Oops, I Did It Again
Omar is running the same plays that all Democrats tend to resort to when backed against the self-inflicted wall: deny, deny some more, admit, beg forgiveness, then repeat. It works for constituents and their media and unerringly propels them into power.
Omar is executing this strategy with alarming consistency. Recently, she responded to a tweet about the movement Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel, suggesting that her congressional co-workers were pro-Israel only for the monetary support of Jews and the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
In pithy prose, she exclaimed, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.”
House Democratic leaders pounced immediately in hopes of hosing down the firestorm to save their own behinds for having embraced this racist and outspoken young woman. In a joint statement the Dems rebuked Omar:
“Legitimate criticism of Israel’s policies is protected by the values of free speech and democratic debate that the United States and Israel share. But Congresswoman Omar’s use of anti-Semitic tropes and prejudicial accusations about Israel’s supporters is deeply offensive. We condemn these remarks and we call upon Congresswoman Omar to immediately apologize for these hurtful comments.”
Attempting to placate her elders, Omar responded in another tweet, that “I unequivocally apologize,” yet followed with more of the same anti-Semitic-leaning tropes: “I reaffirm the problematic role of lobbyists in our politics, whether it be AIPAC, the NRA, or fossil fuel industry.”
She doesn’t quite have the sincere apology gesture down yet.
And President Trump called her out, dismissing the insufficient attempt to deflect her own culpability, saying, “I think she should be ashamed of herself. I think it was a terrible statement. I don’t think her apology was adequate.”
Or, frankly, in earnest.
Yet cable media giants, establishment print, and the Democratic Party continue their appeasement program in helping to sow seeds of hate for the spread of radical racist behavior without a tinge of remorse.
America should have seen this coming. In 2012, as a state lawmaker, Omar tweeted, “Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel.”
How Did We Get Here?

Rep. Ilhan Omar
Omar will continue to degrade and defame Israel and Jews and now from a bully pulpit to which few radical religious zealots have access. And she will carry on her hatred of Jews and Israel, cavorting with like-minded bigots, such as Linda Sarsour and Rep.Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) and supporting her friends at the charitable organization Islamic Relief USA, which publicly praises the killing of Jews.
Racist birds of a feather.
And when cornered, Omar will deflect, claiming victim status, as an immigrant to this nation. During her campaigns, critical of the president, she would often proclaim, “I myself would have been part of the travel ban.”
Many would say that would be validation enough for the controversial Trump edict.
