The Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of Camp Constitution, agreeing that Boston violated the group’s First Amendment rights in Shurtleff et al. v. City of Boston et al. The court ruled Monday that Boston acted illegally when it refused to fly the Christian Flag after inviting applicants to apply to use the city’s third flagpole.
