January 27 – Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the White House Monday. He and President Trump addressed the press from the Rose Garden before heading inside for a meeting. The president also gave a proclamation for International Holocaust Remembrance Day and signed three bills into law. H.R. 263 renamed the Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Nassau County, New York: It is now the Congressman Lester Wolff Oyster Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The Emancipation National Historic Trail Study Act directs the Department of the Interior to study the feasibility and suitability of adding the Emancipation National Historic Trail in Texas to the National Trail System. The President George H.W. Bush and First Spouse Barbara Bush Coin Act requires the Treasury to mid and issue coins in 2020 that honor both President George H. W. and First Lady Barbara Bush.

January 29 – Wednesday, the president signed the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement Implementation Act during a signing ceremony at the White House. The act - as the name implies - implements the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), the new trade agreement for North America.

January 30 – President Trump visited Dana Incorporated in Warren, MI, Thursday, to celebrate Wednesday's signing of the USMCA.

January 31 – On Friday, the president signed an executive order to combat human trafficking and online child exploitation. The order directs federal resources to be used for the investigation and prosecution of such crimes and for the protection of victims.

February 1 – President Trump nominated Richard E. Zickerman of Michigan to be Assistant Attorney General in the Tax Division and William G. Dauster of Maryland to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Federal Supplementary Medical Insurance Trust Fund. He also appointed Douglas G. Fehrer of Virginia and Robert J. Creighton of Florida to the Federal Salary Council.
