Take a look at the ever-deepening Biden scandal, and then take politics out of the equation. Look at the facts that have been uncovered: the bank records, the White House visitor logs, the emails, phone call transcripts, and witness testimony. An objective assessment might well conclude that the senior Biden is not telling the truth about his involvement with his son’s overseas business deals. The most recent revelation, coming not from empty GOP allegations, but from bank records, is that the Biden family raked in at least $20 million while Joe Biden served as Barack Obama’s vice president.
A 19-page memo was released on Aug. 9 by House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY). It is the third such document that proves a flow of money from various overseas entities into companies founded or co-founded by Hunter Biden. The payments came from Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, and Kazakhstani oligarch Kenes Rakishev. But this isn’t an exhaustive list of foreign companies or individuals who paid Hunter Biden for the only services with which he could provide them: gaining access to US business sectors and, perhaps more importantly, to his father – then the deputy to the most powerful man in the world.
Impossible to Brush Off the Biden Scandal
The entire affair has gone from allegation and suspicion to a growing tranche of evidence that truly leaves one slack-jawed and wide-eyed that the establishment media has apparently decided to treat this as an entirely unsubstantiated right-wing conspiracy. At this point, it is fair to at least suggest this cover-up is the conspiracy.

Joe Biden himself continues to boldly deny that he was ever on calls with potential business partners of Hunter Biden. The latter’s closest friend and business partner, Devon Archer, recently testified that this is not true and that Hunter dialed his father into calls on at least 20 occasions. Additionally, according to the Oversight Committee memo, “Then-Vice President Biden met – in person, for significant periods of time – with [Baturina and Rakishev] or their representatives.”
Unable to deny these contacts took place – even though the chief executive continues to do just that – Democrats and the White House put a different spin on the story. Biden never discussed business with these individuals, they insist. He merely exchanged pleasantries. However, Liberty Nation has already pointed out that the subjects of discussion are altogether irrelevant. Hunter Biden was selling the Biden brand – and Joe was the lynchpin of that brand. He could have discussed the price of gummi bears and would still have been participating in his son’s selling of access to him.
You didn’t take a cent of the $20 Million?
The other head-scratcher is the repeated claim that Joe Biden did not benefit financially from any of his son’s business activities. The public is expected to accept that at least $20 million flowed into Biden shell companies, but the family patriarch – the man whose very name and position unlocked those cash infusions – didn’t see a single cent of it or benefit in any way? Only the most narrow-minded partisan could not help but at least consider the sheer improbability of this.
The GOP response is that they do not need to secure proof of direct payments to Joe Biden. “This is a hollow claim no other American would be afforded if their family members accepted foreign payments or bribes,” the latest memo observes. “Indeed, the law recognizes payments to family members to corruptly influence others can constitute a bribe.” Regardless, some screenshots of 2019 text messages from Hunter Biden to his daughter, Naomi, have resurfaced in another huge blow to the White House’s head-in-the-sand reaction to the whole Biden scandal. “Hope you all can do what I did and pay everything for this entire family fro [sic] 30 years,” Hunter wrote. “It’s really hard. But don’t worry unlike Pop I won’t make you give me half your salary.”
No one is above the law – not even the president. That’s a line Democrats fed the American people from even before Donald Trump’s inauguration right up until today. It seems this rule does not apply to Joe Biden.
