Revolting Pro-Abortion Ad Goes Viral

A repulsive ad in favor of abortion produced by a left-wing advocacy group has gone viral, ably spotlighting the heartlessness of “pro-choice” supporters in a way pro-life activists could never hope to achieve.

The ad, made by a group known as the Agenda Project, self-described “progressives” committed to opposing “the rise of the modern right,” actually was produced in 2015. It received new attention when pro-life activist Laura Klassen posted it on her Facebook page on Nov. 8. Its cold-hearted tone is startling even for advocates of murdering babies in the womb.

Live or Die?

The ad features a healthy, smiling, beautiful baby as lullaby music plays in the background. The text reads: “She deserves to be loved. She deserves to be wanted. She deserves to be a choice.” The brief video then ends with the hashtag #StandWithPP.

The blunt message serves as a striking portrayal of how far removed the abortion cause has become from any sense of basic humanity. Focusing on a cuddly babe and then starkly defining her very existence as nothing more than a personal choice to be made by a stronger, fully grown human being is a new low for a movement that already has the blood of over 60 million on its hands since the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision 1973.

When the body count gets that high, of course, we’re beyond callousness. As Stalin is reported to have infamously said, “a single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic.” Abortion advocates in America have apparently reached the saturation level of a mass murderer like Stalin to such a degree that they can now look that single-death tragedy squarely in the eye without flinching.

The ad is spookily reminiscent of remarks made by a dishearteningly honest abortionist at a National Abortion Federation annual conference in 2015. Dr. Lisa Harris of the University of Michigan expressed pride in her active role in killing the unborn:

“I actually think it should be less about denying the reality of those images and more about acknowledging, that, ‘Yeah that’s kind of true,’ so given that we actually see the fetus the same way, and given that we might actually both agree that there’s violence in here. … Let’s just give them all ‘It’s violence, it’s a person, it’s killing.'”

In this atmosphere of destruction, a complicit, corporate, and so-called mainstream media has no qualms whatsoever in supporting the most repulsive facets of the abortion industry. A Bloomberg editorial on Nov. 13 openly championed the harvesting of murdered unborn children for use in medical research. Bloomberg breezily dismisses the reasons most women get abortions in America today and then uses the fait accompli of a murdered child as cause to advocate harvesting its remains for federally funded research:

“Abortions are carried out to stop dangerous or unwanted pregnancies, as U.S. law allows. Having made that choice, women who then donate the fetal tissue are helping science to advance, which benefits everybody. There’s no good reason to make this more difficult.”

And that’s how cheap human life has become in the eyes of our major media outlets, circa 2018.

Against this backdrop of bold support for industrial murder, new Planned Parenthood President Dr. Leana Wen made the media rounds on her first official day at work for the abortion retail giant by talking about anything but terminating pregnancies. [perfectpullquote align=”right” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”24″]…a common goal: to strip a class of human beings of their humanity.[/perfectpullquote]

Fielding one softball question after another from a loving media, Wen misleadingly hyped PP cancer screenings with CBS, used racial social justice jargon to obscure the reality of abortion on CNN, and disingenuously mourned the “politicization” of “health care” with The New York Times.

None of this should be surprising at all when one considers how personally intertwined our corporate media behemoths are with Planned Parenthood. These are truly collaborative efforts to push an agenda, with not even a veneer of unbiased journalism remotely to be found.

Planned Parenthood is actively attempting to distance itself from the grisly workings of abortion at the same time its supporters are shamelessly embracing the murderous machinery. There is no conflict to the dual approaches. Both serve a common goal: to strip a class of human beings of their humanity. We are all diminished by their success.
