Mexico Plans for the Future at US Expense

by | Jun 24, 2018 | Immigration

During a recent rally, one of Mexico’s presidential candidates, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), encouraged mass immigration to the U.S., calling it a “human right.”

“And soon, very soon — after the victory of our movement — we will defend all the migrants in the American continent and all the migrants in the world,” he said, according to Mexican outlet El Universal. Immigrants “must leave their towns and find a life in the United States.”

AMLO’s goal, however, isn’t about the human right of immigration, but rather to flood the U.S.-Mexico border with Mexican immigrants to collapse the U.S. economy and social structure and provide a massive influx of money to Mexico.

A Numbers Game

How is this possible, you wonder? Right now, millions of dollars are sent from legal and illegal immigrants to their home countries to help support their families still living there. The numbers are staggering. Just from California, $3.86 billion is sent each year. But look at these other figures to put things into even greater perspective:

Given that there are 11.7 million legal immigrants from Mexico, and 3.1 million from Central America living in the USA, this gives us a pool of 14.8 million legal immigrants contributing to the remittance figures. We also know that 74% of illegal immigrants are from Mexico or Central America, or 8.14 million. This means that of the total Hispanic population assuming to be paying remittances, 35% are likely illegal immigrants. This works out to illegals paying out $14.31 billion to the region annually.

A Plan for Mexico

If AMLO is elected and Mexicans flood the border according to his plan, those numbers will grow substantially. And that’s not all. Their ability to change state and national laws is a real threat. As it stands, Mexican Americans still have the right to vote in Mexico. It doesn’t matter that they’ve become American citizens, as long as they are still a citizen of Mexico. As the Conservative Treehouse said:

“Through overwhelming the Southern border regions, the nation of Mexico will be able to influence local U.S. laws and overwhelm the local U.S. political structures.  The Ameri/Mex zone penetrates into the U.S. and provides a borderless opening for migration, trade, commerce and the education of Mexican citizens through the utilization of U.S. social and economic systems.”

We are already seeing the effects of this in California. President Donald Trump’s border wall and immigration control efforts have angered a lot of immigrants in the state. The Golden State cannot afford to lose its Hispanic and Latino voters, of which there are about 4.5 million. The immigration debate has sparked a massive draw to the voting polls with 68% of Latino voters saying they will vote this year – compared to only 25% of all registered voters in recent years.

Fox News program “Tucker Carlson Tonight” had a good segment on AMLO and his goals for Mexico and the U.S.  Carlson pointed out that the left speaks of the “sinister influence of foreign countries on our government,” referring to Russia, but that the real threat is coming from Mexico. Carlson said the Mexican government provides instructions on how to avoid deportation from America and that they, “send their poorest people here because it’s cheaper than taking care of them there.”

Mexico’s economy depends greatly on remittances sent from Mexican citizens living in the U.S. By flooding the U.S. southern borders, AMLO’s plan will rapidly increase his country’s wealth while overtaking politics and changing laws that will spread beyond the southern borders and into the rest of the U.S.A.

I am reminded of what a college friend told me decades ago. His mother crossed the border with all five of her pregnancies to have her children born as American citizens, then immediately went back to Mexico. My friend did not come to the U.S. to live until he was nearly an adult. It was interesting to compare historical notes on California and how the state became part of the U.S. — they were vastly different, of course. My friend said that Mexico would one day take back California without a single drop of blood being shed.

It looks as if his prediction is coming true.
