Special Counsel John Durham's latest court filing says Hillary Clinton's lawyer Michael Sussmann lied in writing to the FBI on her behalf. Filed late Monday, August 4th, the 48-page motion says Sussmann wrote to the FBI General Counsel "I’m coming on my own – not on behalf of a client or company – want to help the Bureau" At the time Sussman was representing Clinton's campaign, and "Tech Executive-1", revealed to be Rodney Joffe, a computer scientist. The filing was made in Sussmann's federal criminal trial for lying to federal agents. Previous reporting on the story did not include details that Sussmann committed his false statements to writing.
