When Chairman Deng Xiaoping took over the Chinese Communist Party in 1978, he made a steep right turn away from Maoism toward a market economy. He assured the old guard communists that this wasn’t capitalism but “socialism with Chinese characteristics.” With President Xi Jinping, China has made a sharp turn back toward Mao’s totalitarian system.

One of its most ominous developments is the new social credit system, in which unapproved behavior is punished with restrictions on travel, bank loans, internet access, and other amenities. It amounts to state-enforced ostracism.
The behavior that reduces social credit and may result in confiscation of civil freedoms ranges from jaywalking, excessive computer gaming and porn consumption, to sharing of fake news and criticism of the government.
According to Global Times, more than 11 million flights and 4 million train trips have been blocked by the social credit system as of April 2018, and this is only the beginning. The system is in its infancy and is currently being tested on a small scale. In the video below, expat Matthew Tye in China gives us a chilling account of the effects of the new system. A Result of Multiculturalism
Tye explains that the new police state is the result of a general disregard for laws and regulations in China, and as usual the government waits until the situation is so bad that it turns to extreme measures to fix the problem, going too far in the process.
As we have explored earlier at Liberty Nation, China is not a country but an empire. It is, therefore, multicultural by nature. In such a society, each sub-culture or ethnic group ignores the law and follows its own rules. The result is chaos.
Parallels to America
The observant reader may have noticed the similarity between the draconian Chinese system and the behavior of progressives in America. Facebook, Google, and Twitter, in practice, operate like the Chinese police state where certain behaviors – largely conservative – are banned. For instance, recently prominent feminist Megan Murphy was banned permanently from Twitter for stating the scientific fact that “women aren’t men.”[perfectpullquote align=”left” bordertop=”false” cite=”” link=”” color=”” class=”” size=”24″] …what could happen if these radicals ever get full control over the levers of government. Meanwhile, Islamic leader and left-wing favorite Louis Farrakhan is still on Twitter after saying that Jews are termites.
In the domains that progressives control, they implement social policing that resembles the Chinese social credit system in intent, if not in detail. Hollywood is notorious for blacklisting conservatives. Progressive legacy media like CNN exclude conservative voices and push propaganda under the false banner of being objective news organizations. Leftist organizations like Antifa use violence and disruption to terrorize and silence anyone to the right of Chairman Mao. Universities have become a cesspool of indoctrination and ostracism.
These bastions of progressivism give us insight into what could happen if these radicals ever get full control over the levers of government. In an America ruled by progressives, there would unquestionably be a social credit system that scores people based on whether they are racist, sexist, misogynist, transphobic, Islamophobic, xenophobic, or deplorable in any other way. Your access to social media, the internet, bank accounts, and much more would be taken from you, and you would be barred from working in various professions.
