Competition for this year’s Hillary Clinton Memorial Sore Loser Award was intense. In fact, the planned award ceremony had to be canceled after the organizers, Liberty Nation, realized that the venue was not big enough to seat all the nominees. After days of deliberation, the judges decided that in the spirit of the collectivist ideology so loved by the left, the award would go to the entire left.
The winners are, hereby, listed and the prize money (if there was any, which there isn’t) would have been equally distributed among them: The establishment media, the ‘social justice’ movement – which encompasses the ‘Women’s March’ and Black Lives Matter – Hollywood leftists, progressives, the Democratic Party, left-wing bloggers, Antifa, and every person who still uses social media to claim that President Donald Trump is a Nazi and Hillary Clinton is the rightful president.
The Most Sore of All Losers
In the final analysis, it was decided that the aforementioned groups and individuals have displayed remarkable perseverance, denial, sorrow, hysteria, and rage. Runners-up for this prestigious award, including the Islamic State, Roy Moore, and Jim Comey, were simply unable to match the elevated levels of insanity displayed by the political left, despite valiant efforts.
Victory Is Ours! Oh, Wait…
Each and every one of the winners was utterly convinced that she, after whom the award is named, would cruise to a crushing victory in the 2016 presidential election. The crushing did, indeed, occur, but Clinton and her loyal minions found themselves on the receiving end. They quickly recovered from the stunning blow, however, to unveil a truly awe-inspiring arsenal of accusations, insults, wild conspiracy theories, fake news, and other nonsense.

As they drift in an ocean of sore-losery, leftists have mustered every objection possible to Trump’s victory. They are almost too numerous to mention here. Trump, they variously claim, is a Nazi, a white supremacist, a sexual abuser, and not in any way qualified to occupy the White House. As if this wasn’t enough, the Russians stole the election for him and, besides, Hillary won the popular vote. The list of reasons why Trump should not be president goes on and on. Many on the left reached the level of personal development that enabled them to accept the fact that Trump is president. That didn’t stop them pursuing the nirvana of sore-loserism, however. They choose to follow different paths; a multi-pronged assault on reality, one might say.
Thus, began the awesome, never-ending tantrum. What we witnessed – and continue to witness – is something akin to a school bus full of cocaine-fuelled seven-year-olds on the wrong side of the freeway. Those who took to the streets broke stuff and threatened and assaulted people. Those who took to the printed word devised a range of false stories, incredible conspiracies, and quickly became outraged when their integrity was questioned. Those who took to social media became simply obnoxious, vile, and bullying. It was, truly, a team effort.
Most remarkably, all indications are that the left will continue to wallow in their collective moderate to severe sore-loseritis. There appears to be no cure for it. In fact, it is entirely possible that the left will claim this award in each of the next seven years.
