Voters Reject CA Dems’ Plans
In an act of political suicide, California Democrats decided that what their core voters really wanted was to take a huge chunk of change from the state budget, and use it to pay for free healthcare for illegal migrants. This is not the first time that politicians have overestimated their simpatico relationship with voters, but this time they may learn a valuable lesson.
A survey asked simply: “Do you favor or oppose making health care benefits available to young low-income illegal immigrants in your state?” And the results should send shivers down the spines of those running for the 2020 Democratic ticket. More than half of all respondents, 55%, sent back a resounding “no.” But perhaps more worrying for those who favor an “immigrant first” policy was that only 31% thought this was a good idea … and these affirmations were only for immigrants under the age of 26.
Gov. Gavin Newsom’s (D) quest for universal healthcare – including illegal residents – was passed by the legislature as part of a $215 billion budget. He said “We’re going to get it. We’re committed to universal health care. Universal health care means everybody … We will lead a massive expansion of health care, and that’s a major deviation from the past.’’
What to Watch For
The results of the survey threw up an interesting fact; 13% were “unsure” whether they supported this measure or not. Could it be those precious few undecided votes that stop the expected California blue wave?
The Deep State Has Teeth
The recent ABC interview between George Stephanopoulos and President Donald Trump has brought the creatures of the Swamp out in force to express their displeasure. You see, what’s good for the goose – in the eyes of the deep state – is not necessarily good for the Trump gander. Stephanopoulos asked:
“Your campaign this time around, if foreigners, if Russia, if China, if someone else offers you information on opponents, should they accept it or should they call the FBI?”
And clearly this is a trick question; if he answered either yes or no, then the answers would be used as a cudgel with which to beat him. Trump opted for the middle ground, replying why not do both. He said, “It’s not an interference [sic]. They have information – I think I’d take it. If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI – if I thought there was something wrong.”
Andrew McCabe
Andrew McCabe, formerly of the FBI, was aghast that the president would even contemplate such a thing. Yet he failed to find the comparison between what Trump suggested and what Hillary Clinton actually did. When asked whether the two situations were similar in any way, he responded:
“There’s no equivalence between those two examples … For a campaign to hire a law firm, an American law firm who then turns around and hires an American research company that then contracts out with a foreign individual, that is not illegal.”
It seems that the Swamp protects its own.
What to Watch For
With the Russia collusion hoax finally beginning to lose its potency, and the racist card failing to have stuck, it looks like the legacy media and the left will resume their tried-and-tested method of “women scandals” once more. As new accusations surface against the president, expect salivating “journalists” to begin talking about how “credible” Trump’s latest accuser is.

Be on the lookout for:
- Joe Biden is about to become a major target for his fellow Democrats, who feel that he is yet another pre-planned candidate chosen by the DNC, in a repeat of the Clinton vs. Sanders debacle. With low-hanging fruit like his past working with segregationists, to his old comments about abortion not being a “right,” how long before a desperate contender decides to pick a piece and take a bite?
- Keep an eye out for rising tensions between Iran and the U.S. in the run-up to the G20. Iran may well be playing a divide and conquer strategy by attempting to drive a Japanese wedge into the proceedings.
- Now that minority voters are starting to swing toward President Trump, expect the media to start playing the racist card with a vengeance.
