“God, Hillary should win 100,000,000-0,” so says FBI agent Peter Strzok who believes Trump is “a loathsome human.” Indeed, these are the text messages from someone who was assigned and then removed from the Special Counsel’s Investigation into the 2016 presidential election. Now it seems we may be hearing from the man himself instead of just reading little missives to his mistress.
On Fox News this weekend, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) told host Jeanine Pirro that the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is going to send a little something over to Mr. Strzok – and it’s not going to be a Fruit Cake.
Jordan claimed not once – but twice – on Pirro’s program that Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) will be handing out a subpoena to Mr. Strzok.

But wait there’s more –Goodlatte is also going to subpoena deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe and Strzok’s paramour Lisa Page, who also works at the Bureau. Then the Chairman is going to reach down into the gutter and subpoena Bruce and Nellie Ohr who used to work for Fusion GPS. Fusion, you may remember, was on the Democratic National Committee payroll and is responsible for the dirty dossier on then-candidate Donald Trump.

‘Tis a tangled web of muck lying deep in The Swamp and Jordan insists the House Judiciary Committee plans to get to the bottom of it.
Also appearing Pirro’s program was Rep. Ron Desantis (R-FL) who said he wants to get this show on the road and put this on the Committee’s Rocket Docket. “This goes to the heart of whether this whole investigation was legitimate from the start,” said Desantis.He then listed several cogent questions that need to be answered:
- We still don’t know if the government paid Christopher Steele for the dossier on Trump?
- How did the Russian thing start?
- Whether the government used the dirty dossier as a reason to spy on Trump associates.
Desantis went on to say that Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Devin Nunes (R-CA) will pursue Contempt of Congress charges against Asst. Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray if they don’t produce answers to those very simple questions.

Then Jordan jumped in to add a couple of questions which he labeled fundamental:
- Did the FBI pay Christopher Steele for the dirty dossier on Trump?
- Was the dossier the basis for getting warrants to spy on people associated with the Trump campaign?
Desantis said that if the answer is “yes” to either of those questions then, “this is as terrible as it gets, as wrong as it gets, this should never happen in the United States of America.”
So far, the American public knows very little of who did what to whom and when. This is why Jordan and Desantis say that subpoenas will be handed out like Christmas cookies over the holidays. Of course, every single one of these people could simply go in front of the House Judiciary Committee and take the Fifth – but sooner or later someone is going to slip up and bust this investigation wide open.
And when that happens it just may turn into an indictment of our own government.
