The creepy cancel culture cultists successfully hosted another Two Minutes of Hate session on social media, hurling their digital vitriol because somebody committed the cardinal sins of sharing facts and not conforming to progressive orthodoxy. The Twitter mob emitted vast amounts of intellectual pollution and hypocrisy to suffocate the career of actress and former MMA fighter Gina Carano, the star of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian. But this riveting story of overly-sensitive and petulant beings in the Twitterverse – unable to endure people harboring different opinions – is a cautionary tale for any individual willing to break free from the chains of Ingsoc – AKA Hollywood. The only question that remains is: Who’s next to be canceled by the Wokeologists?
So much for championing diversity in, as Liberty Nation’s Kelli Ballard describes it, Hollyweird. Recently, #FireGinaCarano was trending on Twitter as angry leftists were perturbed that she compared the current political divide in the U.S. to the animosity and tensions that contributed to the persecution of Jews in Nazi Germany. Carano shared a screenshot of another user’s post on her Instagram that factually stated: “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children.” The message further noted:
“Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”
Carano has faced a storm of social media backlash for refusing to add pronouns to her Twitter bio, posting anti-mask tweets, and demanding an end to election fraud. Suffice it to say, Carano has refrained from maintaining Hollywood’s 3×5 card of allowable opinion, and this has gotten her into trouble. Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Disney wanted to give Carano her walking papers for her “contentious” social media content months ago. Lucasfilm, owned by Disney, got the excuse it needed to terminate a conservative.
The creatively-bankrupt production house issued a statement that confirmed Carano was “not currently employed by” the company, calling her social media posts “abhorrent.” But its indignation might be justified if it held everybody to the same standard, including its Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal.
Hypocrisy Thy Name is Disney
Pascal has posted a couple of tweets that referenced Nazi Germany. In June 2018, Pascal shared a post on the social media outlet that contrasted two images: one of a concentration camp in 1944 and another of immigrant children in cages in 2018 (this picture is actually from the Palestinian Authority in 2010). The tweet contained the hashtag “#ThisIsAmerica.” Pascal also posted a graphic on Instagram that compared Trump supporters to Nazis. It is OK, though, because he added his preferred pronouns on his Twitter bio, and he holds the politically correct viewpoints. Others are ostensibly immune to violent rhetoric, grotesque comments, and Holocaust analogies.
Filmmaker James Gunn was fired and then brought back to Disney, despite tweeting jokes about rape and pedophilia. One tweet stated: “I like when little boys touch me in my silly place.” Another tweet, referencing Gunn’s penchant for pedophilia, is so disturbing that Liberty Nation will not report it here – even censored.
Disney producer Jack Morrissey tweeted that: “#MAGAKids go screaming, hats first, into the woodchipper.” He set his Twitter account to private after the Carano story went viral. Terry Moran, an anchor on Disney’s ABC News, compared Trump’s “personalized power” in the GOP to the Fuehrer: “It’s a personalized power like we have not seen. It’s a Caudillo, it’s a Caesar, it’s a Fuhrer [sic]. We don’t see that in this country. We do now.” No word yet if Moran is getting canned.
And, of course, who could forget about Disney’s business arrangements in China? The company filmed its Mulan picture in the nation’s Xinjiang province where Uighur Muslims have been placed in detention camps, ignoring the communist country’s human rights abuses and even thanking the central government in its credits.
With all that out of the way, the quintessential question needs to be asked: Is Gina Carano incorrect? Thanks to years of propaganda, Nazi Germany constructed so much hatred for Jews among the population. The government did not need to employ S.S. or S.A. troops to persecute Jews as German citizens would assault and insult their fellow countrymen. If they did not use fists and filth to target Jews, households would report them to the Gestapo, either accusing Jewish people of breaking the law or coming up with lies, driven by their ignorant anti-Semitism and a strong belief in socialist ideology.
While the U.S. government is not sending conservatives to internment centers, leftists are utilizing the same language of past tyrannical governments: cleansings, blacklists, purges, and deprogramming. Leftists might feel justified for exploiting the instruments of hate against 75 million people because the mainstream media has fanned the flames of division and disdain for the last several years. If someone is inundated with the message that former President Donald Trump supporters are racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, and a myriad of other isms and phobes, logic dictates that he or she would accept it as fact. This is how brainwashing succeeds: repetition. With the left occupying the corridors of power, it is apparently time to exact revenge on half the nation.
The Rise of the Mini-Maos
The defeat of former President Trump has emboldened the mini-Maos. In the wake of the January 6 demonstrations on Capitol Hill, the modern-day Red Guards feel even more inspired to target strangers, friends, family, neighbors, and others for daring to violate the gospel of radical leftism. Gina Carano’s case spotlights the creepy fact that conformity is necessary to survive in the brave new woke world. Everyone must espouse the same correct opinions, endorse approved causes, and never fall out of the progressive line. Should you dare be an independent thinker, be prepared for the consequences.
In this barn of chaos, lays a straw of irony. The same day #FireGinaCarano began to trend, another hashtag was trending: #KidHitler, which compared Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to, well, you know who.
