CLOUD Act puts Fourth Amendment at Risk
The gun debate in America today has brought into question the future of the Second Amendment, but while everybody was watching the action, is it possible that a new target has quietly been attacked – the Fourth Amendment? Only a day before thousands demanded gun control in the March for Our Lives, the CLOUD Act was pushed through Congress, tacked on to the budget spending bill signed off by President Trump this week. Humor, Offense, and the Ridiculous Left
Representative Martha McSally (R-AZ), recently drew attention from the left for joshing about building a wall between Arizona and California during a roundtable meeting at the White House. McSally, a hard-liner on illegals and “build the wall” proponent soon found that humor is officially unacceptable in politics. Yes, the Democrats haven’t cracked a smile since November 2016 and they aren’t about to allow anyone else to sport a grin and kid around. To read more click here.
California Sues over Census Immigrant Question
The upcoming 2020 census has sparked the latest immigration spat to grace the Trump administration. The Department of Commerce has indicated it will include a question asking respondents to identify their citizenship status, a proposal that has been met with accusations of sabotage, hateful views and threats of legal action. Democrats claim that the decision is unconstitutional, as it may deter illegal immigrants from taking part out of fear of prosecution. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra has already declared on twitter that he will file a lawsuit against the government over the question. To read more click here.
Parkland Students Want Change – Part III
Not all teachers and other employees would carry, but many would. And if no-one – not even the students or administration – knew who was carrying and when, the armed faculty members could retain the tactical advantage of concealed carry.
