A Day At Rehab for Weinstein and Spacey

by | Nov 7, 2017 | Satire

Faster than you can say The Grand Canyon State, Arizona is filling up with Hollywood Sex addicts apace. Soon there will be no one left in La La Land to make sick and twisted movies for your kids to watch.

You may remember it all began with that handsome hunk known as Harvey Weinstein who Hollywood stars just couldn’t keep their hands off in between movie takes. YUK! That dude would frighten a dog.

Then there’s the bombshell dropped to earth from Spacey-Land. Yepper, Frank Underwood aka Kevin Spacey is either bunking with or in close proximity to Harvey Weinstein.  Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall of that guest room? Yes indeed, the illustrious Mr. Usual Suspects has seemingly left movieland for the confines of a rehab center following a string of sex allegations– including one from a 14-year-old boy. Is there really anyone out there who thinks Spacey wasn’t a creep of the first order all along?

And now the two are singing Kumbaya over at the Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona for a mere $36K per day. Wow – wonder what comes with the organic fruit cup at that place?

According to their website, the Meadows is the “Most Trusted Addiction Treatment Center located in Arizona.” Well, thank God for that. Those folks sure have their hands full.  While padding around the compound, sex addicts are enrolled in the “Gentle Path” program in a “safe and nurturing community,” where patients are “guided on their journey of recovery.”

The 45-day program claims to help folks like Spacey and Weinstein through “expressive arts” as if they haven’t had enough of that already. They also offer such soothing activities as Yoga, “mindfulness” meditation (whatever that is?) and Tai Chi. Can’t you just see Harvey sporting around the compound in his yoga pants? That’s sure to be a horror flick coming soon to a theatre near you.

So, it’s situation solved, I guess, because these frightening, assaulting Hollywood sex wackos are now on the “Gentle Path?” Even Google Reviews only gives the Meadows 3.4 stars.  One reviewer openly complained, “Poorly managed place with a lack of communication and unhappy staff.” But the best review came from someone named Ann Car:

“What a waste of $ – adult child went for non-drug reasons, but they gave NO help. No treatments for trauma, anxiety, OCD, abuse, ptsd, insomnia, and other behavior problems were given in 4 weeks time. Only thing taught was how to write family and trauma history and tell others…a little on how to tell others your feelings. As the parent and family we were told we were big problems and criticized in front of patient – which brought huge family division and was never confirmed by other outside therapists. Was spoken to very rudely by most of the staff. I want to report this place to authorities but don’t know where to turn. Would like a $40,000 refund also. Unless you are going to detox from drugs or alcohol, I would run –”

Uh oh. Goes to show you that money can’t buy everything — though it would be nice to hear from Mama and Papa Weinstein about their issues with little Harvey. Nah, let’s not and say we did. But it really would be something if Kevin and Harvey pal up and get better – at least before they hit the Big House.

About the only good thing one can say about the Meadows is that it’s not tax-payer funded. In the meantime, I would steer clear of the place and keep the kiddies from wandering down one of their various and sundry “Gentle Paths.” God only knows who or what they might encounter.
